Done! Charlie Sheen Confirms Exit From Two And A Half Men!
Sorry, Two and a Half Men Fans, it looks like the rumors were true - sort of!
Charlie Sheen is speaking out about his much-speculated exit from the smash comedy, and is not happy about false reports that he was fishing for more ca$h!
However, the fact remains that regardless of his motivations, he wants out!
The troubled actor says:
“Much speculation and rumor has arisen from my current status surrounding Two and a Half Men. All of the numbers reported in the press are false. Claims from ‘inside sources’ regarding offers from the studio as well as my salary, on their best day, are without merit. Approaching the start of the current season and as far back as June ‘09, I submitted my terms for season eight to Warner Bros. and CBS respectfully. Both parties have known the score for over a year. In no way, has this been a hasty or negligent eleventh hour surprise. I offer this information out of love and respect to my crew, my on-set family, my writers, executive staff, as well as my real family, my dear friends and my loyal fans. We tape the final episode of the season this evening. If tonight’s show is the end for me as Charlie Harper, so be it. Another journey has begun. I take from the experience 161 shows filled with a kaleidoscope of amazing experiences, memories, friendships and gratitude. I remain humbly inspired. – C. Sheen”
Surprisingly well-written!
Unfortunately, we think this is for the best. Sheen may be in serious shiz when he returns to court regarding his domestic abuse case with wife Brooke Mueller, so at least this way he can exit the show on his own terms.

Where does it say he is leaving the show? It's a classic negotiating tactic. He is calling CBS's bluff.
Alan, Jake, Berta, Judith and Evelyn can carry the show without Charlie but I really hope he'll reconsider.
I am glad Charlie Sheen is gone. I think he is bit to vocal about his political views. He is a nut case.
Not to offend the other cast, but the show is not the show without Charlie. You can't have Two And A Half Men without Charlie. He makes the show what it is.. If he is leaving, as much as it pains me to say it, their best decision would be to end the show along with him because its going to be nothing without Charlie anyway and its just going to go completely downhill without him. He is clearly saying he left - he basically says they have known for over a year that this was it.

Love the show and I think its a HUGE mistake on Sheen's part. This has been the only thing keeping him remotely relevant in Hollywood.
I would hate to see him go. But, my entire family live in the state of Colorado and as i said day one of his story with his wife. Colorado does not mess around when it comes to domestic abuse. But, it has to be proven in a court of law. Sad to see him go if that is indeed true.

The show will tank and only last one or two episodes. No way is this a show without Charlie Sheen. CBS should give him whatever he wants or they'll be losing the revenue from a very popular show.
Let's not jump the gun here. Sheen isn't saying he is done he is saying that if the studio does'nt meet his terms of his salery he is asking for then he is done. There is that posibiltiy they will give him what he wants. Will see long time before taping resumes. Time for both parties to reconsider.

Aww no he can't leave! Because then they won't make the show anymore and because the producer of this show is the same as The Big Bang Theory, that will be cut to. And thats a decent show, so this really sucks.
