Snooki & Co. Denied In Miami!

MTV better start reaching into their pockets for some $$$ or else the second season of the Jersey Shore is going to be ZzzzzZ!
The infamous guidos and guidettes have landed in Miami, but Miami isn't too happy to have them. According to sources, many clubs and hot spots are denying the group entry because they don't want to be associated with their violent stigma! One source explained, "A lot of places don’t want the cast in their clubs and restaurants because they don’t have the best reputation and they’re concerned about fights breaking out.”
Thinking about this all wrong, Miami! These kids are a GOLD MINE! Just call the KARMA club in Seaside Heights or the Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City! Ask them how well they are doing since they were graced with The Situation!
Besides, give them some credit! Most of the violent stuff happened on the boardwalk and at their house last season! And we hear they have a police escort and their own security on hand at all times while in South Beach!
So relax! What could go wrong?

I was just trying to make a point of whihc spot would embrace the exposure more..As a traveler, I love hitting spots all around the U.S.. Lived in florida and I love Miami, southbeach, Ft.Lauderdale, Tampa, Clearwater area. Been to New York, Boston, West coast, south, lived in the midwest. Never did Jersey Shore or AC make me want to visit.. Sorry..

I live at the jersey shore and fyi karma's not getting much business cuz they are closed. They only open in the summer. Tropicana on the other hand always gets business regardless. They make a lot of money from their various clubs/bars/gambling anyway.
I was just on the Seaside boardwalk this week and they use posters of The Situation as targets for their paintball games. Plus, they can't give away these tacky "Team Snooki" t-shirts.
These Jesey Shore kids are classier than anyone in Miami. Miami is full of cubans, haitians, and others that arent even american. I grew up in Miami, trust me, these kids are better than any trash in Miami.
I don't know, maybe I'm out of the demo, but this group is a TURN-OFF to me. Who really cares about these people? They are SO F*CKING lucky to have this 15 minutes of fame. It's like, ANYONE can be famous nowadays. If you are fortunate enough to get on a reality show and a few million people watch, you're in tabloid heaven!. I kinda hope season 2 BOMBS…….

It’s funny that these reality celebs walk around thinking that they have the best life. Sure, a million an episode is great, but what happens next season when no one wants you anymore? Look at all these real celebrities that are going bankrupt because they can’t find work, and then these reality star people who think they have it made are only digging a deeper hole for themselves in the long run.

I hate to be the voice of reason, but I am 34 years old and I have seen all kinds of jerks in all areas of this country. Just because they were chosen (Yes, chosen) to be on air is no reason to act as though Jersey kids are a mess or that Miami is the epitome of class.

If you know the place you know the place, and it's like any other place; you have to know where you belong and where you don't. New Orleans is like New York and even Miami; it's a world all its own. It's one of those places that ends up as part of you, all of the bad and all of the good. When I go back to NOLA it's like going home. You're wrong on that one.

Just saw two episode because a friend had it on and I rather watch the Kate and brady bunch plus two show. They should have sent them to "The Villages" in Florida or some similar old-timer hot spot. Would have been way more entertaining. I liked their 1st season show, but seeing a replay of the debauchering in another city… not the same. Kind of like when a good movie turns into a franchise and starts making stupid sequals with no plotline just to cash in on a craze. This is the same deal. I won't be watching them in Miami.

Re: Big-package – Wow, you haven't been to Miami Beach and Bal Harbour (part of the same barrier island) lately. Our condos and homes are worth in the millions of dollars, to shop at Bal Harbour you better bring many thousands, and most of the restaurants are very good, and pricey. You may be speaking of a Miami Beach decades ago, when retired old folks on fixed incomes used to afford to live here.
I don't know what Miami Beach some of you people are talking about. Scarface was written and made about twenty years ago. Miami Beach, like the East Village in New York and many other parts of cities around the country, has been VERY gentrified in the last decade. Yes, we have the occasional scummy "celebrity" staying at a two-thousand dollar a night suite, but the people who now live here have to cough up quite a bit of $$ for the hi-rise condos and houses. And, we like it quiet, with nice shops and great restaurants…and none of those "reality tv stars". And, by the way, Miami Beach is multi-cultural, of my two next door neighbors, one family is Swiss and the other is a French-Brazilian couple.

If they dont continue it at the Jersey shore I think it will flop. It was perfect there. I loved the boardwalk and I love the cast. But can someone please tell me is Ronnie still with Sammie?
