There is an entire music market out there OTHER than the United States… you guys realize this, right? So just because an artist only had one popular song here an America, doesn't mean they haven't had a string of number one songs everywhere else. All you can speak of is what American DJs choose to play (and Im from NJ) I just know not to call people "washed up" when they are doing VERY well in the rest of the world :::ahem, Natalie Imbruglia::::

The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.

Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:

"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."

That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:

"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."

She added:

"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."

Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...

As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:
