Phew! Elizabeth Taylor Is Not Engaged!
Well, thank goodness for this!
We went into shock last week when we reported that Dame Elizabeth Taylor was getting married for a staggering NINTH time to Jason Winters.
Thankfully, our hearts were soothed this morning when we read this via her Twitter:
The rumors regarding my engagement simply aren't true. Jason is my manager and dearest friend. I love him with all my heart.
Well, this is much more acceptable news!!
Phew!!

Taylor's got her sights set on Eddie Fisher. She just doesn't find him that attractive when he's single.
Okay, I adore the fabulous Mz Taylor as much as the next, but are we seriously all just going to ignore the muppet feet and MATCHING MUPPET FOOT RESTS???? I feel like my head is exploding!

My 82 year-old anglo-Indian mother still looks great, w/o any work done at all, and doesn't look a day over 70! My mom was as beautiful as Liz Taylor and Ava Gardner and Hedi Lamar, rolled into one woman, at the height of their beauty in Hollywood! Truly superstar level of beauty. Unfortunately, same narcisstic, selfishness comes with that, I guess.
She used to date a famous superstar Bollywood actor, Raj Kapoor, whose two sons also became very famous, before marrying my dad, a TWA Airlines executive. Juan Tripp, the founder of Pan Am, would come to dinner, while trying to steal my dad from TWA in Bombay. They lived the life that Leo DiCaprio depicted in The Aviator… glamor and competing for the best global routes for their airline. This is why I seem to have traveled everywhere, when I write on here. I have.
