Footloose Has A Director! ANOTHER One!
This movie is doomed!
We previously reported that Chace Crawford has dropped out of his role in Footloose, but at least they have a director attached. High School Musical director Kenny Ortega dropped out months ago.
Craig Brewer will helm the Footloose remake along with writing the script. The original premise was going to be edgier than what they have now decided upon as the studio is sticking with the original premise.
Boring.

it might be interesting, might not be as gay as what the director of glee might have produced, but brewer did two amazing movies (hustle and flow and black snake moan). he understands music period.
first of all.
there is no way this movie can be remade and it not be terrible.
second of all it hurts me inside to know that Kenny Ortega is known for HSM and not for Dirty Dancing.
