Due to her busy schedule, Lady GaGa is living the celibate life and she doesn't think it's too bad! She even wants you to join her.

For once, I see some signs of intelligence here. She's absolutely spot-on. After 3 horribe relationships I decied to remove myself from the "sex pool" and spend more time thinking about why, since my Senior year of HS I keep choosing the samd guys in different bodies. I stayed celibate for almost 3 years. Yeah, that was tough. BUT, when I ran into my husband on vacation, we both "clicked" instantaneously. We haven't been apart for more than three days in 2 1/2 years. Sometimes it's good to stop, put yourself in temporary hell, self=reflect, and then come out as a happier, well infomed and insighful person. But I'm glad that celibacy thing is over- not gonna' lie!

At first, the celibate comment threw me for a loop. I think the real message is "don't feel pressured to have sex, esp. if you're not ready." That is an amazing and powerful message coming from someone of her stature. I think that we also have to make sure that by advocating celibacy, we are not condemning sex itself. Sex is beautiful and is much of what makes us all human.
