Back in February, rumors kept swirling that Matthew Fox was cheating on his wife with some stripper.

Fox has been married to Margherita for over 18 years, but according to reports, he was shacking up with 26-year-old Stefani Talbott, a dancer at Stars Cabaret club in Bend, Oregon.

And Fox is again speaking out and denying the rumors.

This time he did an interview with Playboy, how appropriate, and denied the whole story.

According to Fox:

"The story is not true, and I’m not going to comment [further] on it. Margherita and I have been best friends and best lovers. She's the love of my life.

We have managed to both be intensely independent and maintain that strength in our relationship. I am a man, and I am an appreciator of women. At the same time, Margherita is the s—. I can honestly say we're good together.

We've been together for 23 years, so let's leave it at that."

Do we really want to leave it at that? We want to hear from the stripper. Speak up honey!

Though for the sake of his marriage, we're hoping he really didn't cheat.

Of course he cream-pied that stripper !!
And if she was on top of things, she would've sucked him off and stored his baby batter in the fridge so she can turkey-baster herself real good.
She doesn't want to make the same mistake Bombshell McGee made and not have something to work with, right ?

No, "we" DON'T wanna hear from some stripper.

Can't you ever believe in the goodness of mankind, Perez? People lie, and blackmail and extortion are crimes. Just wait and see, but, for pity's sake, don't WISH for the worst. They sound like a lovely couple. You gotta believe.

    omg ……. hes a cheater

  4. 4

I think "no". He made an unequivocating denial. Not: Its a private matter. Not: most of it is untrue. Just plain old: No way, Jose.

  5. 5

23 years? no one should stand in judgment of that

  6. 6

No i don't want to hear from the stripper. I'm sick of hearing from these whores. I believe him . either way I don't care.

    Jacob is not pleased.

I live in Hawaii and everyone in town knows that he cheats all the time - sort of a running joke - his poor wife and kids

    Jesus Fucking Christ Perez!

Iam so disappointed that you would want this Oregon Stripper to come forward with her story. So what you can go ahead and bash her? Call her a famewhore? Belittle and disrespect her humanity?

Seriously Perez sometimes I wonder about 'you'.

I love this man and I would love nothing more than to think he didn't do it but I can't be blind. He did NOT give an unequivocal denial. Translation:

"We have managed to both be intensely independent and maintain that strength in our relationship."- I consider us to have a somewhat open relationship. -Intensely independent? Sounds sketchy to me. Not the best way to refute an indiscretion denial.

"I am a man, and I am an appreciator of women." - I went to the strip club but I didn't sleep with her. OR- Yeah, I dick around. But she's okay with it.

"We've been together for 23 years, so let's leave it at that." - Trust me, I got it under control.

    We totally did coke together!

elfinesmom is right. Well, except for being disappointed. He's in an open relationship. So what? Does he have to be a romantic type that fits into our prefered type of union?

And no, Perez, we really don't care what the stripper has to say. Matthew Fox's denial is a classy way of saying: "We have an open marriage and it's none of your business." I really don't need to hear more.

I don't think there'll be a single man who reads Playboy who doesn't understand what: "My wife is the love of my life. I'm a man and I appreciate women… we're very independent… we've been together for 23 years so let's leave it at that" means. I appreciate the lack of hypocrisy about sex in open relationships. I don't know if I could do MARRIAGE that way, but I'd be willing to try a relationship because honestly… with a man like him, that'd be the best, most honest option. He's said before that sex is his favorite thing in the world so if they separate it from their obviously real feelings for each other, good on them. I'm open to the idea as well.

my best friend lives in bend, or where he lives, and she said that he does go to strip clubs and he has earned his red wings….from a stripper, but that was sometime during the winter

  15. 15

Perez, you missed the most revealing part of the interview, according to US Weekly.

"Fidelity is a very personal subject for me."

Translation: Yeah, I fuck around, but I'm allowed to. We're "independent". Lucky bastard.

  16. 16

Nobody would sleep with a stripper from BEND, Oregon. Talk about the most boring ass place in ALL of Oregon. Seriously. The girls there are meth heads and fat cows. Clearly there is no proof, so this is just another made up story. How sad that you have to go to these kind of lengths to get readers. Jesus Christ. Quit your job if you're this desperate.

  17. 17

Am I the only one who prefers the quiet: "We fuck other people and we're not going to talk about it!" approach to the bullshit sex addict excuse?

  18. 18

if there's anything I've learned from Jesse James and his Nazi boo boo kitty fuck, it's that I absolutely do not want to hear what the stripper has to say.

  19. 19

Why do men a ssume whores won't talk? Of course he cheated, they all do.

Even good, long term marriages can suffer from bends in the road. The good ones clean up any mess, learn from it and then try to move forward together, and see what happens. Deep and abiding love doesn't seek perfection. It only aspires to it.

I will say this: I was "backstage" at the series premiere in Waikiki. I almost got knocked over by a very focused Matthew Fox. Immediately after leaving the stage, he made a beeline (hence almost knocking me over) for the VIP tent. I turned to see what he was so intent upon. Too late. He was planting the most intense soul kiss on his wife. Yun Jin Kim was laughing, trying to get them apart b/c she was trying to take a picture of them. It was like no one else existed…seriously, one of the hottest things I've ever seen. That right there told me that any rumours of cheating a false. They are both dedicated to their family.

  22. 22

It's not cheating if your partner gives you permission. The comment he made about his wife says it all. Oh, Margherita what some women do to keep a male-settle, settle settle. I hope Matthew thinks, "My wife is the shit," after you come in from a night of cattin' around with some dude. Forget Mat and Mag. The tragedy here are the kids. They're the canaries in the mine. Ask Mckenzie Philips, Robert Downey Jr. or Cameron Douglas. Screwing around outside of the marriage leaves little time to be a parent, ask Michael douglas Matthew.
