SNL bossman Lorne Michaels has revealed that they've asked Robert Pattinson to host an episode of SNL this season!
In 2009, Lorne said that he didn't know if Pattinson would make a good host, but after seeing the way he handled himself on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, admitting it "went well" for R-Patz.
Do U think R-Patz would do well as host?

i love me some Robert…but i dont think he can host. maybe put him in a skit…but i dont think he could pull off a full show. he's the kind of sarcastic funny, that not everyones gunna get..and seeing as SNL is having a flop season..his kind of funny wont work.

He has a different sense of humor that I personally enjoy. I think he's absolutely hilarious! But I know not everyone thinks he is. I love that he's a little shy and awkward. SNL isn't that funny anymore to begin with, but I'd definitely watch this. Maybe his sense of humor isn't everyone's style but it certainly is mine! I would love to see this happen!

Rob was asked last year and he turned it down. I really hope he does this show because I think he would be great. His skit on Fallon was hilarious and a lot of people loved it. Also, he would be the sexiest host they ever had!

Re: jeezlol – I agree with you. As much as I love seeing him, I think this may be too much exposure and too typical. Also, he's quite shy, this may give him all kinds of anxiety. I loved the little skit he did on Fallon, but even that made him extreemly nervous, bless him.

I think R-Patz is beautiful and I am an old lady compared to most of his followers. I would just watch to see him. He is shy, so I don't know if he would accept the offer to host. The only time I have ever watched "The View" was when he was on recently. I think the cast of SNL could guide him through the job of hosting and there is a lot of potential for funny skits about him given his star power.

yeah, i bet he could. he has a very sarcastic, dry, and at times awkward sense of humor. it is very british but quite charming. a lot of people might resent him as host since he is so closely linked to twilight. but i saw remember me and little ashes, and his acting and characters were very good in those films, i thought. he is more than jsut edward
