Pennsylvania Says Jon And Kate Should Have Had Child-Labor Permits!

Well DUH!

Pennsylvania regulators agree that child-labor permits should have been obtained for 8 children of Jon and Kate Gosselin while their TLC show was still on the air, but they aren't going to take any legal action against the producers.

For any future filming however the Department of Labor & Industry will require that the kids have work permits and that a portion of the proceeds go into a trust fund for them.

Sounds reasonable to us!

But it also sounds like they got away with murder for the 4 seasons of the show!

"Got away with murder".. You are so full of shit. They got away with nothing. The reason the show was so popular was bcause people watched and loved how Jon and Kate dealt with their children. Good or bad, a camera followed them around, watching them live their life. It was exactly like you or I living our everyday life, only difference, a camera followed them. You know, sort of like what a family would do when they film each other, kids, hence the birth of Youtube. So that means anyone in Pa who films their kids on video and post on Youtube should get a permit?? These kids got to do some wonderful, amazing things. All got to go to Hawaii, San Diego, New York. They got to be on Oprah, Cake Boss, Motorcycle Choppers. They got a million dollar home, play house for each kid, and funds put away for college. I the mean time, their parents marriage ended. So who got away with murder?? Also, you never watched the show so Perez, you are hardly the right person to judge.

No, not "murder."
But they skirted the law for some 4 seasons, and with all the state regulators, child welfare advocates and lawyers, they STILL got away with it.

What does it matter at this point? Those poor kids are already screwed up emotionally for life. If anything there should be a permit for them to have free psych therapy for the rest of their lives, all because they didn't choose to have douchebags for parents.

Kate actually fought against it by claiming that the kids weren't working but were playing. She is just a pimp using her kids as her whores.
