The fad isn't dying any time soon!

Martin Scorsese will be filming his next project The Invention of Hugo Cabret in 3-D!

Based on Brain Selznick's popular children's book, the story is about a 12-year-old orphan named Hugo set in 1930s Paris. He lives in a train station and sets out to solve a mystery of a broken robot.

Scorsese doing a kids' flick AND using 3-D? This should be inneresting!

What do U think?

It could be like that time when Danny Boyle branched into a new genre and made "Millions." On the other hand, it could be like that time when Martin Scorsese branched into a new genre and made "New York, New York." Scorsese always brings his visual effects to their maximum potential and most of his other genre experimentations (comedies, biopic, Biblical adaptation…) have been wildly successful, so here's hoping for the best.
