Such a great video! Thanks for posting Perez
Kewl.. They are paying homage to the movie "The Blues Brothers", with Taylor playing the Ray Charles part. But the dance, band performance, everything just like the movie..
I LOVE HANSON!!!!!!!!!!
I don't get it. Why haven't their voices changed?
groan
total blues brother rip off!
Never heard of them, but WTF? Why are these spares ripping off the Blue Brothers and Ray Charles? Unless of course they do the Aretha Franklin scene, that one always makes me laugh, "you betta think, think, think"
I really like it.
Love It!
never was a fan, but super cute video! i love the blues brothers look.. and wow these guys got extremely hot.
I love it! Do they have a new CD coming out?
I love Hanson! It was so cute! Why is it ripping off if they pay homage to it? I was laughing at the guy's dancing….and they were just having fun. Also….I've watched it 2 times now…and I can't find Weird Al. If you're talking about the guy that tosses the Guitar to Ike…that's Ike in a wig and beard. Just like another Zac was playing the drums….Duh.
Re: perez hizilton – Hellllo? It's not a rip off if you're trying to emulate the scene from the film. They're paying homage to the film and it goes well with the song, which has a real 50s/60s rock flavor to it.
Oh, that just made my day. I don't care if it was a rip-off. I haven't really liked anything they put out in the past few years so I am so excited to hear this. It was so fun. Can't wait for the album!
I really liked it!
I kinda love it too! I needed that smile.
Love it…Hanson was always underrated!
OmG! they are still so totally hott! Great Video!
umm please tell me someone in this generation knows that this is an homage to The Blues Brothers.
the little one still looks 13 =)
cute video
Fun tune.
Its very catchy! Sounds like exit music from the movie theatre sort of. Video is cute blues brother homage.
The album drops on June 8th…
Anyway I have always been told that the difference between a rip-off and homage is whether they acknowledge their inspiration or not. They clearly have stated their love for the Blues Brothers and this era in music…
Thank so much for mentioning Hanson, Perez! These guys don't get near enough credit! They are so fabulous live and are genuine, humble, and generous fellas!!!
Re: Suez1886 – Weird Al is the guy with the bowl cut playing the tamborine.
SOOOOO TOTALLY FUCKING GAY!!!!!!! IT'S SOOO GAY KINDA MAKES PEREZ LOOK HETERO. UMM, MAYBE NOT - OOPS. ANOTHER GLEE EPISODE???
I really really liked this video!!! Im not a fan of Hanson but this is SUPER COOL!! It put a smile on my face
hate to admit it ..but i really like it…found myself sing it
lovesit
I LOVE IT!!! Talk about 90s flashback! I was so in love with Taylor..so glad to see he's still lookin' good!
Did anyone else just watch some National Geographic thing on an Octopus?
I didn't get the actual video until I clicked here…
Well that was just brilliant. Great vid, great song and very very easy on the eyes. Thank you Hanson you fitties you.
YES!!! looove Hanson!!!! love the video… made my day down here in rainy texas!!!
That was super cute…
loveeeeees it
i really like it . huge step up from when they had their long hair back in the day
and the song really isn't bad
Re: Suez1886 – Weird Al is the one paying the tambourine.
Broadway Musical sounding at best.
Great to see them back with such a cool video!
omg that was awful…and so childish…and they're parents…awkward!
Fun! YAY, tight jeans! Looks like they were having a ball!
LOVED it!!!
Oooo, and I spied some of Taylor's kids (bright red headed girl and boy).
super cute!
I have been a huge fan of Hanson for more than half my life. They definitely don't get half the credit they deserve!!
LOVE love LOVE love them!
Wow Perez, you mention it features Weird Al (as if that would be a thing to report) but you completely miss that the "silly and fun" video is a knock off/ tribute to the Blues Brother's movie "the Blues Brothers". It's really cool that they've did that and they did a great job… what's not cool is that you missed it. Go watch it P, you might get culturally edumacated.
xoxo
Awesome!!! the young one is looking hot!!!!
*
Hoo boy!
*
This is some fine good ol' fashioned R&B. Real R&B. Not that shitty stuff they call R&B today.
*
Good on Hanson, man. Combine that with some Seal, Winehouse, Otis Redding; James Brown, Bobby Gentry's "Ode To Billy Joe", Mitch Ryder; Dusty Springfield, Joss stone or Joan Osborne doing "Son Of A Preacher Man" and man, you'd really have some serious R&B to work with and sweat to!
*
Pretty damn cool, fun tune, fellas!
*
Loves it!
Finally — some music that doesn't suck ass!!! Say what you want, but those Hanson guys are very talented. Love it!
Thanks Perez! I love the video and the song… I am there!
Catchy song and fun video! Love it!
I love my boys!
LOVE IT!!
LOVE IT!! No rap or whiny bitches, just pure fun!
I can't believe Visa has never heard of Hanson. Maybe they were born after the mm bop days?
I think they sound and look great. Can't believe they're all fathers now. Ahhh…time flies.
Love the 70s/BB's homage. Love Weird Al. Love that there's no GD autotune. Love the Suri Cruise looking kid in dance scene.
i thought i was great kept watching over & over again @ work
Finally something worth my time! I really liked this video but I've been in love with Hanson since I was 11 yrs old so my opinion is a little biased
Either way, I enjoyed it.
WOW! This is amazing! SEE - it IS still possible to make FUN new music with REAL instruments WITHOUT autotune on the vocals! No attitude, no stupid outfits, no outrageous antics, just a kickin' song with people dancing and HAVING FUN! I'd almost given up all hope, especially with all the music stores closing down.
I grew up watching the blues brothers movie (yes, the original, not the horrible sequel). I like that Hanson is paying homage to it with this video– but I just can't get myself to like the song at all.
Other than the singing, which I enjoyed immensely, I found the entire song to be drawn-out and boring. It isn't rockin enough, it doesn't make me wanna get up and dance like the BB's… which takes away from the enthusiastic, dancing crowd scenes. I'd rather watch the original over and over again than watch this one more time.
I like it a lot, and those Hason brothers turned out to be hotties.
OH MY GOSH I LOVE THAT SONG AND VID!!!!!
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!
That is going to go to #1 if it hasnt already. WOW!!! GREAT WORK!!!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great !!!
I love Hanson since 1997 !!!
We can see in the video Ezra the son of taylor.
IIIII LLLLLLOOOOOVVVEEEE IIIITTTT !!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Rican31 – And I loved the video as well.. The dancing the boys do cracks me up. White boys got moves.. Not bad..
I'm….stunned. THAT WAS FREAKING FANTASTIC!! Great song, fun video, VERY charming and entertaining. I can't believe they're still around, and that they sound GOOD! They just ended up being nice, married dads who's job happens to be music, it would seem. Way to go, Hanson! You sure showed all the haters, now, didn't you? (Last year we used 'Mmmbop' as a torture device to drive a co-worker insane. Totally worked, too!). Never thought I'd see the day I would praise Hanson, this MUST be good stuff!
ok i clicked play… 2.5 minute video about a fuckin octopus… why?
OMG I used to freaking love Hanson (for those of you who don't know who they are/were, they are the band the Jonas Brother ripped off! Hanson was huge during 1997)
Very good song and cute video. Thanks Perez, this made my day!
Ok video. Boring song.
LOVE this!!! fun video and as always, awesome music!
Thanks for posting!!!
love love love!!!!
this is just great!!!….ive been a hanson fan 4 a long time and they always just put out good fun music
haha i love it, it has that hall and oats vibe meets 500 days of summer.
LOVELOVELOVE!!!!!! this is SO GOOD!! yay comeback!!!!!!!!!!!
LOOOOOOOVE Hanson!!! Taylors still got it!!
Blues Brothers did it first and did it best!
Hanson kicks ass!!! That video made my day it's so much fun =D
MMMSUCK YOUR OWN ASSESS IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT!!!
hottie boys all growed up!
The song is very catchy, cute happy vid. thumbs up.
Loves it!!!
luvs. when are they guesting on glee?!?
I've always loved Hansen!!
Cute and fun.
good lord i didn't know they were STILL out??
HANSON!!!!!! I still love Hanson
Hahaha, Taylor's son Ezra is in the video. (:
Love it!!!! Album comes out in June! Excited!
awesome - love it! I love Hanson but have not heard them in a while - this was great! very fun.
Re: katie04josh06 – Yes, Hanson do have a new album coming out. It is titled Shout It Out, and will be release on June 8th!
Love the Blues Brothers homage, pretty funny. I actually like the song, and I'm not afraid to admit it! Haha..
Ha, this actually sounds pretty cool! Also, Weird Al is looking so cool, I can't believe it. XD
A bit repetitive but light and fun. It's nice to see something thats just easy to watch and involves no grey matter activity!
hanson could easily have a whole new generation of young teenbop fans…i loved them when i was 9 so much!!!!!!12 years ago it's crazy
That video is a masterpiece! They aren't ripping it off, they are paying homage to their inspiration which is why they started playing music in the first place. The song is fantastic, and really different and catchy and I can see it getting a LOT of airplay, especially with the awesome vid! Great job guys!!!
PS - New album Shout It Out is available June 8th!!!
I was a total Hanson geek back in '97-'98 and I think this is the first song of their's I've had on repeat in like 12 years I love it! It has Taylor's daughter and son in there dancing. Too cute!
aaah, Jamie Lidell comes to my mind, if I hear this…..Jamie Liddells voice is so divine
UMMMMM Love it!! Anyone who hates on it must not be very familiar with the genre of music…..their style is very throwback to classic rock and 60's do-wop harmonies. I think it's great, and who would have thought they could dance like that? The video is just fun, the industry needs stuff like this!
Awesome video…best I've seen in a long time. Yay for Hanson! Thanks for supporting them Perez!!!
SIGH! Oh Hanson, how I love love loved you when I was in 8th grade. (and how I still swoon when I see things like this at age 26). SWOOOOOON!
Absolutely wonderful, these guys bring such a breath of fresh air to the music scene, but they always have, theres some force behind this silly wonderful video, im so excited for them.
I LOVE it! I didn't realize they had an album coming out. I'll have to check it out ’cause I am loving their sound.
