Lourdes Enrolling At LaGuardia Performing Arts High School?!

Madonna's eldest child Lourdes may be enrolling at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts!
Her mama confirmed that Lola was already taking acting classes in NYC and was admitted into a "performing-arts high school" to major in drama, although no one will confirm the news.
"They live here now," said Madge's publicist, Liz Rosenberg. "Madonna didn't tell me, and I know she's not going to tell."
The school, which the movie Fame was based on, has been buzzing with the news!
"I've asked," said student Luther Cherry. "[School officials] said, 'We don't know until students show up.'"
But Lourdes might have it rough in there! Students are saying that she was given a private audition to shield her from the pressure of performing in public. And the kids are pissed because of the preferential treatment!
"A lot of kids are talking about how she had an advantage," said freshman drama student, Brittany Evans. "LaGuardia is a great school. It really is, but I think that sometimes it wants to be more of a 'Fame' school."
Something tells us the kids are gonna get a taste of the REAL business where shiz ain't fair!
"I hope she comes in handy for when they come around for parent donations," said art major Karem Penalo.
Ha! Hope so.

a year ago I would agree with this kids, but lately I've learned life is not fair and that everyone has preferences in their lifes! so fuck this kids and Lourdes show them who's got the money, your mother has not worked her whole life for not having a privilege!

I attended the REAL School of Performing Arts back in the early 80s when Fame came out. Trust me, Madonna is NOT sending her daughter to a NYC public school. That's BS.

Deal. Can the girl live? I mean really, Madonna can afford to send her daughter to the most prestigious schools in the world, they choose there. They should be honored to have Lourdes as a classmate.

She may have had a private audition, but people will be more critical of her because she is Madonna's daughter. School of Performing Arts merged with School of Music and Arts in 1985 into the LaGuardia School of Music and Performing Arts. Now Chazz Bono and Jennifer Aniston went to LaGuardia, but they came in way after I was in college. I was in school with Ron Eldard, Helen Slater, Esai Morales, among others.
Trust me, Madonna is NOT putting her daughter into a public high school. If anything, she might go to the Professional Children's School which teaches students who are professional actors, musicians and artists who are working as children but still need an education. DiCaprio, Cynthia Nixon and Malcolm Jahmal Warner are just a few alumni.
I think Lola grew up to be a gorgeous, down to earth young lady. I do ot see a lazy, self entitled brat. Her mom did a good job with her, especially showing her the world and malawai. She will be ok.. what a beautiful little spirit..
If you want to be an actor/performer one of the first things you have to learn to get over is that children of famous people get special treatment. life isn't fair, let alone in hollywood so get over it people. Madonna's great grandchildren will probably get the royal treatment.

I've always envied people that have talent in the arts. Just to stick with the tedious practice is incredible.Thousa nds of hours to do a concert performance and hundreds of hours to do a 3-minute dance or skating routine. Lucky you.

Don't kow a lot about classical music. The only name I can come up with is Eugene Fodor…went to a concert of his and wanted to cry it was so beautiful. Most of my exposure comes from movies. Two movies moved me to tears, Amadeus and Immortal Beloved.

Go Lola, I think she will be a great actress. I'm not suprsied she chose the entertainment world. Considering who her mother is, I doubt it will ever be possible to just be normal like everyone else. I think Madonna is doing a good job at teaching Lola to be a great business woman when she gets older. Lola is going to go so far in life, Madonna really did good with her !

Some actually brilliant, talented POOR kid got fucked out of an opportunity because of this disgusting nepotism. Why does she need to go to a SCHOOL for things that are just HANDED to her anyway? Doubt any of her classmates have THEIR mothers sitting in while THEY 'run' board meetings for 'their' fashion line. Only thing i know about LaGuardia High School is Fame took place there & it's where Nicki Minaj (who i love) went to high school. lol i wonder whats it's like there these days.
Re: Spindoc – I disagree because of her genetics. Her mom is singer, dancer and actress Evita Madonna, and her Dad was a professional dancer. This makes perfect sense. Lourdes performed with her mom's dance troupe on tour. A good mom would accomodate providing opportunity to her child if that's what her child is hell bent on doing. Lourdes is hardly 3 and being trotted out glammed up at pageants, just saying.

Because god knows, that if this was Jennifer Aniston's kid (if she had any) or some other actress you seem to hate on, you would definitely be agreeing with the students from the school.

She'll be going to LaGuardia next school year, right now shes at my sisters school. The special treatment is bullshit, shes just a normal kid on my sisters school too.
If she does go, I'll be in her grade. I think that these kids just want some credit for what they (we've) done. Waiting for three hours just for the first step of your audition is stressful, and really, it's not right she got a private audition. Of course, she would be accepted, that's a given with her mom, but the rest of us 600-700 kids would like some media attention for also getting into a high school with a lower acceptance rate than Harvard or Yale.
Honestly, all Lourdes has done is come out of a uterus correctly. She's not that big of a deal.
She does look just like Madonna but she also looks like she could be Gagas daughter. If you look at old pictures of Gaga when she was younger and a brunette the resemblence is striking. Weird.
