Ugly Betty's series finale aired last night with only second place in the ratings for the night after four years on ABC.

I Loved Ugly Betty but the ABC were real jerks about the time slots they place Ugly Betty in this year. If they had given it a change it would have picked up they just needed a better time slot and fresher ideas… i will really miss Ugly Betty

ABC killed the show. Just last year the show was averaging 5 million viewers and in some cases more. They killed the show by switching it to Fridays. When they realized their mistake it was too late people obviously lost interest. The show has really been great this season, and it would have been nice to see where it was headed. I was also disappointed by the finale. They cut two episodes out of the season, and it felt completely rushed because of it. They also teased us about Daniel and Betty, and then in the end nothing happened.

ABC is at fault for killing this show! They moved it around so much no one knew when it was on.

It was a great show but didn't stand a chance with the way they kept moving it around to promote the crappier shows!

I watched. I enjoyed it. I agree, the ending (last few minutes) were a let down. I so wanted them to kiss! ABC did not do right by this show. Sorry to see it go, it was witty, clever and really funny to watch.

So sad - I barely knew it was on last night and just caught the tail end, the last 5 minutes. ABC fucked up big time by messing with such a cute, likeable show. They blame ratings but they were the douchebags who moved the time slot and night! How the hell were people supposed to watch the show if they couldn't find it? Network TV sucks - this is why I only watch cable.

I loved the ending! Daniel said that everything was handed to him…he wanted to earn Betty…he had to earn Betty by going to London to get her…she wasn't going to hand herself to him just like any other woman would have done.

I cared. I watched. I loved it. The final fade minus the Ugly was a nice touch. Too bad ABC killed the show by putting it on Fridays and THEN realizing it would work out better during thier Wed night comedy line up. Thusdays wasn't a good match either with the Doctor drams. PLUS it was normally on during Family Hours and then got pushed to a time folks would be going to bed.

Yes, I cared. I felt it was an amazing cast and great character development and acting. Sad it's gone, but the best end of series of any show I have ever seen. All loose ends neatly tied up . . . . . and Betty will live on forever!

Ugly betty has been awesome over the past 4 years but for whatever reason people just havnt been watching it and in the UK it takes so bloody long for it to air over here everyone watchs online so it obvs doesnt get the ratings on network tv. Betty u've been awesome and v sad to see u go!!!

I am so FUCKING PISSED! i consider 'Betty' one of the most avant garde shows out there. so freaking non apologetic, and pro everything i love and believe in.

FUCK YOU ABC I didn't even know it was going off the air last night. Didn't turn on the TV! They did no promos, no media junkets NOTHING to promote it's finale. FUCK YOU ABC. I knew it was going off air this season, but no IDEA it was going to happen so prematurely.

i believe UB was demised when ABC started fucking with it's schedule.

I watched and it was the ultimately satisfying, loose-ends tying series finale, with the orgasmic ending hint that Daniel and Betty will live happily ever after, if he can win her heart. LOVED IT! Can't wait for the movie — I'm going to miss Betty's friends and family more than anyone from Sex & The City — and I'm a straight girl!
