Cameron Douglas Sentenced To Five Years In Prison!

That's not too bad considering the minimum sentence for the charge is usually 10 years! Maybe those letters did some good?

Michael Douglas' son Cameron was just sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to drug charges.

Both Michael Douglas and Cameron's mother Diandra were in the courtroom during the sentencing. In addition to prison, Cameron has been ordered to pay a $25,000 fine and to 450 hours of community service.

After his release from prison, Cameron will spend an additional 5 years under supervision.

We wonder if he'll have to do the full sentence or be released earlier due to good behavior?

this pasty little bitch got off too easy. fucking celebrities. ask and they shall receive from the justice system. total bullshit. fuck cameron and his daddy who loves to make excuses for him. couple of pricks.

  3. 3

Or maybe they used their celebrity status.

  4. 4

He provided information for the FEDS-do you research?

  5. 5

Poor lil Bitch - Gonna skip town or man up?

  6. 6

I just watched a video of his parents going in to court. His dad rushed in his mom posed for pictures. Your son is going to prison and you pose for pictures. Good Mom. Good luck to you Cameron.

  7. 7

That is a serious sentence for a serious crime - doesn't California have good time - I bet he does 1/3 to 1/2 of his sentence. 5 years probation is nothing to laugh at either …

  8. 8

I apologize ahead of time if this sounds rude but doesn't he remind you of a owl. ???

  9. 9

He will be out in 1:58:29 seconds. And that's for bad behavior!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Re: iloverickymartin – #8 that's a Hoot!!!

  11. 11

You know, I don't care who it is… it still breaks a decent parents heart to see their child have to go thru this.

  12. 12

if he wasn't the son of a celeb he would have gotten the max lucky bastard

  13. 13

Re: bearmonty – I find that hard to believe because you rarely see her in public ever … perhaps it was a different reason

I just wanted to add that it's so sad that in this country (and others) money can damn near get you out of most anything!!! BULLSHIT!!!!

  16. 16

5 years is not enough , bastard

  17. 17

5 years = 60 months. That means he will do:
Sentence is a total of 1,825 days.
He will qualify for 235 days of Good Time Credit.
He will be eligable for halfway house afer 1,408 days.
He will be released after 1,590 days.

That is IF he doesn't do the drug program - which he most certainly probably needs to. He could get an additional 9 months off his sentence if he completes the drug program successfully.

And with regards to some of the comments above - those letters probably did help…and he most likely did work for the FEDS. If you are federally indicted, they will convict you and, usually, make you work for them in some way.

I can undersand everyone being pissed off because Douglas gave info to the feds. However, I still don't get the resentment towards celebrities getting off easy. 5 years "ain't hay" my friends - I know! I did time in a state prison for a marijuana charge and NO ONE belongs in a cage. Instead of being so god damn hostile why not band together and fight these absurd and ultra draconian drug laws. Obviously the guy had a serious drug problem. Drug addiction is a disease so why are drug offenders subject to criminal prosecution? My answer is simple. The government must want a black market or they would decriminalize all drug charges. make the dealers PAY very stiff fines and put the users in rehabs. It's the only sane way to approach a problem of this magnitude. Yeh, a real big break - do any of you know what it's like to have "Bubba" trying to rape you everytime you walk by? Well folks, that's what prison is about - power and control. Frankly, over the past 60 years I have learned that prisons are the worst way to rehab. anyone for anything. It just "don't" work! Good luck Cameron - stay to yourself and mind your own business and stay the hell away from anyone named "Bubba"!

Is this a case of 5 years but out in two and a half for good behavior?

Re: sept2749 – This wasn't a bit of leafy green pot. He was arrested for possession of a large enough amount of methamphetamine that he was charged with intent to distribute. He may have had a drug problem, but in those amounts, perhaps a greed and definitely a stupid problem, too. When something is illegal and comes with charges, it's still illegal and comes with charges even if the soul doing it has a sad drug problem.

  21. 21

Good ! He should have had the entire book thrown at him - the over-privilieged rich kid ! Step-mom's a whore, the entire family is Hollywood drug trash ! WHY did he only get half a sentence ? I gues Zeta-Jones DID go down on Judgey-Wudgey - or had Michael send a autographed photgraph ! ONLY IN AMERICA ! Bet he does not even serve HALF of the sentence! It just ain't right !

  22. 22

How many lives did he ruin because of dealing? I think that he got off fucking easy, and its sad that just because you have celebrity family members vouching for you, that you think you have some sense of entitlement to get less jail time. Fucking learn something while you're in there.

  23. 23

The idiot has everything handed to him on a silver plater, and yet he screws up dealing drugs ! Then, the family saves his sorry rich ass ! And, yes, he does look like an (ugly) owl ! He needs to work with the poor of the inner city, visit a hospice, or serve in the military - NOT have his rich family save his…. SORRY RICH ASS ! Wonder where he will be 10 years from now ….. ?

How does a minimum sentence of 10 years suddenly become half of the minimum? How does that work? Just in case I ever need that trick?

  25. 25

what a phuktard. Daddy has lots of money and you go to jail.

  26. 26

    take lindsey with you

  27. 27

He'll be out in a month or 2.

Re: ladynTO – I wish I were wrong watch the video of her walking in to court.

    Re: cookiepuss71
And starring in a reality show.

  30. 30

Re: sept2749 – I agree only to a point. I agree drugs should be legal, but its not. Your busted you do the time. That being said I think getting help is more important. I would rather help rehabilitate him then send him to jail. If he doesn't get help he will be back and there's more of my tax money.

  31. 31

    Re: bearmonty

Prison may be the only way this guy can change. The rehab centers in hollywood are normally sh*t. Stars easily get their drugs leak in there. This guy is a dealer so best bet he has bigger issues than an average druggy.

  32. 32

Re: WearieRabbit – Let's hope he gets help. Let's hope his family is there for him and let's hope he's prepared in case they aren't. That would go for anyone not just a celebrities kid. He is just going through this in public and he will always be reminded of his stupid choices for the rest of his life if he doesn't get it together.

The so called justice system is a joke. If he were black they would have found a way to give him 20 years. He is no better than the street corner dope dealer. A friends relative got 40 years for distributing.

  34. 34

Loser, cry baby, spoilt brat. Get a job and do something for others when you get out douchbag.

I remember reading in the late 90s in New York while he was dating the daughter of the owner of the limelight……that he has an $80 million dollar trust fund coming to him.
