Joe Perry Says Steven Tyler Never Left!
As you already know, after that big geriatric cat fight over Steven Tyler leaving, Aerosmith is getting back together and going on tour.
But now Joe Perry is downplaying the whole break-up saying Steven "didn't really leave the band."
In an interview Perry lied through his teeth explained:
"The press kind of twisted it around to sell papers but you know the bottom line is I just knew things were just going to work themselves out. And he is back and he is stronger than ever."
O RLY?
Well then why did you tell Rolling Stone magazine that Steven was leaving for 2 years???
Oh and then there's that minor detail of Tyler threatening to sue if he was going to replaced, which again was spearheaded by Joe.
How much do you wanna bet there will be a mayjah blow out on tour???

I HAVE to see them on tour. I love Aerosmith! This band is nothing without Steven Tyler though. These classic bands cannot go on without their orignal lead singers. I mean Skid Row without Sabastain Bach is nothing and Aerosmith without Steven would not even be Aerosmith.

…and the members of Aerosmith didn't play the cat fight for every media splash they could get out of it? Please. Something happened. This is damage control. They all acted like rutting rams instead of grown ups. Hard to grow up when you've been a big star all your life. Ah, well. Everyone comes to realizations about certain things at different times in their lives. No one's perfect; but they're rich. : )

k, i've already known this for a LONG time now. This was like set straight in late February! And ya they are touring this year. They're having a summer tour to South America and Europe.
