At this point, its safe to assume that no one cares who wins American Idol this season.
Seriously, is there even a front-runner?
But we might actually have some news that may force you to tune in to the finale. Christina Aguilera confirmed that she will be performing on the May 26th finale of the lackluster season. Surely, this will be the precursor to her album, Bionic, that is releasing the week after and her new tour that kicks off a month after that.

this season is actually my favorite. crystal seriously brings me to tears every time she sings. she is really special. really special. i thought lee was going home for awhile and then he just got it and he's gonna be around for awhile. casey is really good too. about 4 of the contestants are ARTISTS, not just singers. they have a point of view and they know how to project that. turn it on perez! you'll be surprised! idol's ratings have been going down for awhile, but this season deserves the recognition. i have never voted and last night i did for the first time. they are THAT good.

I like Christina A., but to me, she peaked with STRIPPED, which was by far her best album (she's only had 3 or so in the past 10+ years). Of course it was great because Linda Perry and Scott Storch were all over that record (and as much as she thinks she didn't need Storch..she did). BACK TO BASICS was OK, but didn't wow me like it should or could have. I hope this futuristic (such an overused term) album is worth all the wait & hype.
