I don't understand her comment. I mean I do but, Perez posted the other day that Chance Crawford told the BBC that 'after a long day shooting on the Upper East Side, he and his Gossip Girl castmates like to unwind with a little song therapy! He admits that they all avidly go to karaoke bars whenever they can!' And he stated that Taylor is the best singer out of all of them! Which implies that she has gone at least once or twice. I don't know 'not really friends off set' usually means they don't hang out…So is she fake or stupid?

She's just trying to be cute and hip.
She can dress like a bad cartoonist's version of Courtney Love's early style but she's NOTHING like her. Courtney actually had/has an incredibly brilliant and original mind. Courtney spent $5 dollars on her dresses from thrift stores and wore tiaras to represent the fucked up and shallow way women are viewed. Courtney is a feminist. She wasn't pretty in a conventional way at all when she was a teenager which lead to some of the angst shown in her early work. Her song/intro "Pretty On The Inside" is an anthem for the girls who ARE NOT pretty and little and rich like miss Taylor Momsen. Courtney rocked out on guitar and wrote the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, she's a force of nature and one of the most talented female artists.

Taylor Momsen is absolutely soulless. She just does what's hip, what Teen Vogue tells her to do. Gossip Girl is the lamest show on the planet. Those kids are pathetic and she's on those commercials every week like a robot reciting the worst lines just because she's getting a good paycheck. She's glamorizing drug use. She has no mind of her own, it's embarrassing.

You have to admit, the things that come out of her mouth are pretty funny, but she's totally screwing herself over.

She really annoys me. She's trying to make it like she doesn't want to hang out with them but they probally are the ones who don't want to be around her. The others are more mature, better behaved, better dressed, and have great careers ahead of them and she's the little bratty, wanna-be, 16 year old whos too wrapped up in herself to care about anything going on around her. She's a Courtney Love wanna-be.

I imagine that she would not be all that close to the cast because there's a large age gap between herself and the rest of them. Also, she's a teenager, and one who has grown up in a world where she's had to play the part of other people, and I think that that can kind of fuck with your head a bit, which may be why she's such a conceited little bitch now. (Hello, Lindsay Lohan is a classic example of this!)
I think people should maybe cut her a break. No one knows what's gone on in her life, and no one has the right to judge her. Also, she IS a good actress, and I really, really enjoy her music.
As for her copying Courtney Love, come ON. Everybody copies everyone else. Absolutely EVERYTHING has been done before, and even 'original' people really aren't original. Ease up on the kid.
