Scandalous … and slightly ironic.
Since Ricky Martin's parade out of the closet, folks have been trying to figure out how long he knew and who his past lovahs have been.
We found one story in the most recent edition of TV y Novelas to be rather interesting.
According to soruces, back in the day, when Ricky was livin la vida straight, he was actually shacking up with Eduardo Verastegui. You may known his as one of Mexico's hottest model exports, but we know him as the guy who was the spokesperson for a series of terrible TV commercials against gay marriage. These commericials aired during the time Prop 8 was being considered and was targeted to Hispanic voters in California.
Deplorable!
We hope this isn't still going on, Ricky. You deserve someone much better!

I don't get why Perez Hilton is complaining about people projecting their personal opinions on TV commercials when Perez himself thinks he has the right to pass judgment on every person in the world because he's gay.

So.. Hey, Ricky performed at George Bushs first inauguration. The writer of his song got pissed at Ricky for performing at W's inauguration using their song. Lots of lationa and democrats were pissed at him as well. I was upset with him.. Entertainers do whatever to make money or be in the public eye. And who says being gay means you have to support everything gay. As a gay man, for a time there because of my religious views, I was against gays getting married. That changed over the years but we latinos, gay or not, view religion differently than most..

Ok, this is what I don't get…Everyone knew ricky martin was gay. EVERYONE! So, who cares about anything else?
