LOLZ! WTF????

Check out the latest Saturday Night Live Digital Short featuring Andy Samberg and Gabourey Sidibe!

We couldn't tell you why, but it's HIGHlarious!!

Definitely one of the better - more bizarre, but better - skits in a while!

Gabby flubbed up a couple of lines, but we think she did a great job hosting, all in all!

      I did like her, and I didn't think I would.

      From what saw, I wasn't really impressed. Her monologue was cute though and I hope her career goes far!

      Are you joking? That was one of the WORST, least funny, stupidest snl skits in a while. Gabourey was awful and has no comedic timing. It was not even close to being "HIGHlarious" dumbass.

      She messed up a lot. Like, bordering on embarrassing, 'lot'.
      Also, as a fellow fat girl, I was embarrassed for her in the beginning….her entire monologue sounded like she was out of breath. The walk from backstage can't be that long!.

      I expected so much more from her. The funniest part was watching her work up a sweat during the opening monologue. It was high larious!

      There's no way anybody found anything on this SNL episode funny, including spitting cherries back and forth. Why is everyone so afraid to say anything negative about this person? She was AWFUL. It was only partially because she can't act a lick. The material was godawful as well.

      SNL sucks and so does Samberg so it couldn't be funny. I haven't watched it but if I did I guaranty I could tell you why it was NOT funny, so why is it that Perez cannot tell us why it is funny.

      sorry, she was obviously nervous, but she messed up 3 or 4 times. on the whole the night was not that funny. the one really great moment was Bill/Seth doing the news with the gay NY guy.

      I HATED her! I couldn't even watch the whole episode of SNL. It sucked. And she sucked as a host and she messed up a lot of her lines. She shouldn't be a comedian. She's not fucking funny. And she needs to lose weight! And WHAT THE FUCK? The cherry battle sucked. It looked like they were making fun of her because she's so gigantic.

      I had high hopes for her, but she sucked BIG TIME. Even though she messed up her lines several times, that wasn't what bothered me, I thought her acting was HORRIBLE. I'm sure she was nervous, but I just don't think she can act worth a shit either!

      Re: flora_tink – she screwed her lines a lot. one place i remember was during the old lady yelling out the window sketch. the promos were funny, but i stopped watching after the musical guest went on the first time cuz i was bored out of my mind. and i felt so bad for her during the monologue cuz she really sounded out of breath.

      for those saying she's a bad actress, idk how you can say that if you say precious. i'd blame it on her not being funny or snl just sucking balls anyway. and since she single handedly made the snl promos look hilar to the point that i decided to watch (and i haven't seen snl in years and years), then i have to assume it was the shitty writing for snl. when are they gonna have actual talented regulars on there that can actually write something amusing?

      Not only is Mario horrible at blogging and being a "gossip reporter", but he also needs help on finding out what's funny. This has nothing to do with her being a tub of crisco, she was just awful on the show.

      HORRIBLE I had to turn it off because it made me sick. i almost puked watching Andy Samberg's spit covered cherry fly through the air. disgusting and not one thing about it was funny.

      Ugh… it was a shiteous SNL. Gabby was awful and has NO comedic timing whatsoever. The funniest thing was Bill Hedar (sp) cracking up during his weekend update skit. Can't wait for Betty White :)

      I thought the show was horrible. How awful to either be portrayed as a fat lazy DVM clerk, or an old fat black lady sitting by her window rambling and yelling at two guys sitting on the steps. She flubbed many of her lines- she was boring, and hard to look at. Kinda proves that there are not many roles for her to play on TV or the movies.

      My god people. It seems only people who dislike something will sure let you know, but people don't take the time to respond on a positive note so that is why I am now. I peed my pants at the Cherry thing. Very clever and funny. Yes, Gabby messed up some lines, but other hosts have to and she is still very fresh to acting. I say let's give her break. The show was okay and thank god for the cast cause their the ones that really make the show. Andy Samberg rules!

      Oof. this skit was hilarious, but hte rest of the show - TERRIBLE. i thought G was awful. How she was so great in precious, I'm not sure, because the rest of her acting range was poor.

      i thought she did pretty well, a lot better than Pretty Boy Phillipe the week before, and the writing was good. especially memorable was the writer's rant on Girl Scout Cookie availablility.
      if you don't find SNL funny these days, you're too stupid to be watching. go have another shot of whatever the Jersey boneheads are pushing this week.

      Can we even call that a skit? If she wasn't morbidly obese would they even have done that? Seriously. I wish I could get back those 2 minutes of my life I just wasted. This isn't Gabby's fault, it's SNL's fault it sucked.

      you can't blame gaby for bad skit writing, but i thought this was in the better half of the shows this season. weekend update was the best part. i still think gaby's adorable, though, and while she might have flubbed up a couple lines…seriously guys, it's live television. hader was borderline hysterically laughing during his update sketch. if i recall correctly, most hosts have messed up a line or two this season.

      on a related note…this was the most bizarre digital short ever. on the serious. it was kinda nasty.

      Gabourey doesn't have a knack for live comedy, that's for sure. Watching her was awkward at times, and her comedic timing sucks. But I won't put all the blame on Gabourey… I'm not sure if the SNL writers really know how to write for a black woman.

      Oh my gosh, she was ADORABLE. I liked the crazy old woman skit, the alarm clock skit, and this cherry one. She was sorely missed in every other skit that she was underused in or wasn't in. That's how good she was.

      I actually pulled some strings and got to see the show live in person. She was FABULOUS! And the cast and crew said she was one of the best, most professonal, hard working, and nicest host they ever had. Yes, she flubbed a couple of lines…But how about YOU try to read dummy cards — COLD READING LINES — live on TV, and see how YOU would do! They change the lines all the way to aire time. So each skit is basically a COLD READING. Gabby did Precious, one other film after that, has a supporting role in the Showtime series, and is working on another feature film. All involve MEMORIZING LINES. VERY RARELY does anyone have to read lines cold on live TV! She did FABULOUSLY, and she looked gorgeous in the opening number! BRAVO, GABBY!!!! Your fellow native New Yorkers (like me) LOVE YOU, AND ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!!

She flubbed a couple of lines. Why don't YOU try reading lines cold from dummy cards and see how YOU do, asshole? You sound like you just don't like her.       Was rough watching her gasp for air during every one of her skits, she seemed to be short of breath after each line, I was scared for her. I hope the "yes men" around her don't coddle and indulge her now because she is "famous", instead someone close to her should step up and do the right thing, as unpopular as it may be she needs to change her lifestyle.       I can't believe people actually watch this show. It is about as funny as Tracy Morgan, Carrot Top and Jeff Foxworthy. It would have been funny if they had made Gabourey wear a two piece bikini though!

      I completely disagree with the people who say she doesn't have good comedic timing. I think she has good timing and delivery… when she read her lines right. What she doesn't have is the practice and polish of a more experienced actor. She couldn't overcome her instinct to go back over "do-over" her line when she messed up, and it made her mistakes that much more obvious. To say the wrong word and know it, but just keep going as if you hadn't messed up, is a skill that takes practice and she is very new to acting. Cold reading itself is a skill that takes practice. When she was on a roll, she was very funny. She's probably not cut out for live comedy, but she showed a lot of potential and could be really good in a movie.

This was a stupid digital short, and SNL hasn't been funny in a hot fucking minute… I liked Gabourey in Precious, but she doesn't have the right comedic timing for SNL… although I don't blame her as much as I do the writers… What the fuck are they getting paid to do, because what they are coming up with is painful to watch and not funny…

Please don't give any excuses for her. She was nominated for and Oscar and she couldn't even read cue cards??? I'm not asking her to remember lines. Just read the cards.
