Disgusting! Church Plans To Picket Constance's Graduation!
There are truly no words for this.
As if poor Constance McMillen hasn't been through enough with the deplorable and disgusting discrimination she's faced regarding her school prom, the Kansas-based Westboro Baptist Church announced that it plans on picketing her graduation!
The press release says:
“[We] will picket the graduation of Itawamba Agricultural High School to remind the parents, teachers and students of this nation that God said 'Thou shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind, it is abomination.' This generation has been raised to believe that they can live for the devil and still go to heaven, that God has no standards and the biggest lie of all – that God loves everyone.”
It truly saddens us to think that there are people in this world who could be capable of this kind of hatred and believe that is all in the name of a higher power.
Stay strong, Constance! You've already come this far!

I would like to have those protestor's come to Omaha, Nebraska at Central High School… They would have a rude awakening. Everywhere you turn you see a girl holding hands with another girl, or a man dress up very feminine holding his hand out, blowing kisses and such. I feel these protestors have been sheltered by these moral standards and religion all their lives. They have not seen how this world has changed for the good. People should be accepted no matter their belief, faith, or sexual preference. It is sickening and very degradinging to 'religion'. I am absolutely DISGUSTED by that press release. This is the reason I don't believe in organized religion…WTF is this??? God doesn't love everyone??? Actually, it doens't say womankind at all. Not to mention the bible also talks about there being MANY opinions on the bible but to focus on ONE thing; the commandments. God didn't intend this world to be this way. But that doesn't mean believers can be hateful and cruel. God sent His son to us to TEACH us and yet we take nothing from that. It says we have no right to judge or condemn, but we are called to love. How is picketing a teenager showing her love?! It's sick and I'm going to email this church and hope they realize how disgusted God is at their behavior.

The Westboro Church better bone up on the bible, God did not write the bible and there is no reference to Jesus saying anything about it. The bible was written long after Christ`s death and was written by men in Arameic and much of that has been lost in translation from one language to another.

Why do people keep letting Westboro hold the power position of attacking others?. I say thousands of people volunteer to start following them everywhere and protesting them everywhere they go during everything they do. If it didn't get annoying for them after a while, it might at least slow them down a bit because they would have to prepare for protesters for every single plan they make.
