Once again, Shaki has been asked to write and perform the theme song to the World Cup, held this summer in Africa.

And we love it!

This is a Rip off! Once again she has copied an old Dominican song. I believe de chorus is the same as the one of well known dominican songwriter Wilfrido Vargas. He wrote it for the group Miriam Cruz y las Chicas del Can. She has done it before using a very famous chorus originally from Luis "terror" Diaz on the song "My hips don't lie". What's up with that? And you can youtube it if you like and find out for yourselfs.

""Zamina" or “Zangaléwa” is a 1986 hit song, originally sung by a makossa group from Cameroon called Golden Sounds who were beloved throughout the continent for their silly dances and costumes. The song was such a hit for Golden Sounds that they eventually changed their name to Zangaléwa, too.The song pays tribute to African skirmishers (a.k.a tirailleurs) during WW2. Most of the band members were in the Cameroonian Army themselves and used make up, fake belly and fake butt for comic relief.

The song is still used today by soldiers, policemen, boy scouts, sportsmen and their supporters, usually during training or for rallying."

AFRICA is a continent, idiot. It's held in SOUTH AFRICA. And for whoever asked why we're not using "African" singers, WE HAVE. The tracks just aren't released online and definitely not on PerezHilton.com. Sorry, but it's not a lifetime achievement for us to have a song on here.
