Betty White Lays Down The Rules!

Though Betty White will be joined by alums Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Molly Shannon next week when she hosts SNL, it's really the Golden Girl who is calling the shots on this one.

Betty admits that she was given special veto power if there was anything written she really didn't feel up to doing. When asked about it, she jokingly said she had no intention of doing nudity, but in all serious, there is only one topic she has asked them to steer clear of. She explains:

"I won't do dope jokes. I don't think dope is a joke. That is about the only no."

We agree. Classy lady like Betty shouldn't be taped during her pre-show rituals anyway!

Dope? What? I'm confused. Didn't she just have a scene in Hot In Cleveland, you posted earlier this month about them smelling pot and asking "Does any one else smell pot?" and Betty asks "Why? Are you a cop?" "No." "Then what's is to you?" Implying that she was just burning one (or growing it). And, she got a big laugh. Sooooo, now she won't do it on SNL. Hmmmmmm…

Re: That Cat – Weed isn't dope. Dope is heroin. Some people I guess refer to other things as dope if they don't know much about drugs (not a bad thing lol) but really it's heroin. Most people think pot isn't a big deal, I'm sure she's smoked a ton in her day haha..
