I mean I believe in donations and helping others of course but I'm so tired hearing about fucking Africa. The continent as a whole needs to step it up a fuckin notch.

Although the politics of Bono and celebrity diplomacy are questionable overall, why does it bother you so much that people are lending a hand to raise awareness? It makes me sad that you really don't see very many at all of the stars talking about helping out in America. There are so many places in theU.S.A that could use help. Although , I did see a piece on David Arquette that he works with one of the big food banks here in The US. Good for him! I guess they get a lot more press doing the international thing.

We're large enough for one, and volunteering and giving to the needy worldwide is just part of being American … DUH.
