Filing For Conservatorship! Michael Lohan Wants To Control Lindsay's Life
Michael Lohan will be continuing with his pretending-to-care attitude when he returns to Los Angeles on Monday. Sources say he's already telling people that as soon as he gets into town, he's going to start getting the legal documents ready to create a conservatorship for daughter, Lindsay Lohan.
He's more than happy to take on the role of caring daddy (but only when money's involved, right???), but he's open to having someone else assume the role of Lindsay's conservator.
He's suggesting rehab for Linds, but apparently he wants a very expensive special rehab, aka a private home with lots of doctors. Doesn't he realize that Lindsay is broke???
Meanwhile, Lindsay could be thrown in jail as early as May 20, which is her court date for violating her probation.
The Lindsanity seriously needs to stop. But Papa Lohan is NOT the guy to do it!

Allow the person who publicly stated that she has Aids be her conservator? I would like to think not; especially since it's her FATHER. What an asshole.
albeit, he has done it all in the wrong way. at least he is trying to get her help. in my opinion, her mother airs just as much dirty laundry and is in complete denial. so complete dickhead or not, at least he is attempting to sort her out. coz she will be the new anna nicole smith.
I'ts him and that thing (the mother) that has done things to make her be the way she is today. Both of them are loosers. I'm just wondering if they are all doing this for the fame whore syndrome. Maybe there isn't even a problem at all. Who really knows. Linds can't get a job doing a movie so maybe all this attention pulls in mag ads, etc and that is how they are making there money.
Considering she has no money I don't actually think he's looking for a big payoff this time.
The girl needs major help and I truly hope her douchebag father is capable because her mother has absolutely no hope due to the killing of the braincells during the fake tanning process. That woman is so plastic that she doesn't know reality anymore…..at least Michael is ugly enough to be kinda real.
Lindsay has been doomed since birth with these two as parents. She didn't have a chance in hell in turning out to be a responsible adult. But, and I can't believe I am saying this, I DO think she needs a conservator. But not anyone who is family or has anything to gain personally from this. No one who knows her too personally ( so they can't be manipulated) but someone who can look ather with fresh eyes and see what help this girl really needs. It is so sad.

A court appointed, totally nonrelated in any way conservator may be the only way to go. This entire family needs a conservator. Either that or locked up in cages.

As crazy as he is, he is the only member in Lindsay's family that has been and still is brutally honest about Lindsay's situation. I hope the court appoints a conservator, she desperately needs help, it is really tragic to sit and watch her get worse every day. How can her mother just ignore it all? And she lets Ali live with Lindsay? Very tragic - let's hope for a happy ending, somehow.
Now someone needs to find a conservator for Michael, lol.
In all seriousness though, if he really is open to someone else being her conservator, I think it is a fantastic idea. I also do think that, while he does want money and fame, he really does care about his daughter and want what's best for her. He has made himself look ridiculous with the ways he has gone about it, but he continues to keep pursuing it, even with the whole World laughing at him, so I'm inclined to think he is willing to keep trying for the sake of his daughter. I am sure the multiple drug-related celebrity deaths in the past year have really opened his eyes also. So yeah…I think he is an ass, and his motives not always good, but I do think he truly cares.

Her mother is saying that nothing is wrong, and is continuing to go out clubbing with her and allows their underaged daughter to not go to school and live with her drug addicted older sister.

There is no way I would let this guy be in charge of her it's libel to send her even further over the edge. She clearly hates him, and isn't likely to do anything he says. I think in her current state she will actually do the opposite of anything he says just to give him a big fuck you. Comments likle that will not help Lindsay. If you want her to get help, stop enabling her. At least her father is attempting something, I don't see anyone else doing anything for her. Her own mother is far into the denial, she doens't see what's in her face. Her friends and the rest of her family enable her and don't try to help. Lindsay just does whatever the hell she wants and doesn't believe she is at fault. She needs to stop blamming other people and take control of her lifel, go somewhere away from LA to get help, real help, not some vacation rehab, because she's just gonna relapse again and that may be the final straw, she'll be deal then!
Lindsay is a fucking mess, that goes without saying, but she's an adult. Why do her parents need to "save" her? Maybe she'll come to the realization that she needs to get sober when she drives her life and career even more into the ground (if that's at all possible).
