    I heard they were working on exactly that for Mickey when I had an intership with Disney four years ago. It's pretty cool to actually see it!

    They do this with a few other characters through out the park. It's cool to see Mickey come to life. My kids will love seeing this on our next trip.

    gosh kids have it good today, when i went to disney in the early 90s i wondered why none of the characters talked………… but i kind of cant help but wonder if the guy is tempted to curse or talk dirty in costume. Lol
    that would be messed up

    I used to play several (Pluto height) characters, here at the Orlando resort and we didn't have these hitech heads back then. Woulda been amazing!

    I used to be "friends" with mickey about 2 years ago… I liked that he didnt have to talk because conversation might get awkward…. but it would have been nice to say "ok, now stand over here"

    Loves it! I think what made the characters "creepy" for young kids was that they didn't talk! It was weird…but now they do talk, and I'm sure it makes it that much more special for the kids. Go Disney!!

    Even though this "Mickey" was talking and had a mask capable of articiulated movements,it was STILL a kid in a costume. . .just a costume with a radically improved head piece.

    i remember when i went to disney world when i was really young. i had minnie mouse ears on and mickey walked by and kissed my ears!

    Incredible. Simply incredible. Now, kids and kids at heart can watch all of their animated friends come to life. Is there ANYTHING Disney can't do?
