Olsen Twins Can't Unload Their New York Apartment

You would think some perve would be jumping up and down to be able to live in Mary-Kate and Ashely Olsen former pillow fighting stomping grounds.

Yeah, not so much. We are in a recession, you know.

The girls have had their Manhattan penthouse on Morton Square on the market since 2005, trying to flip the place for a profit. The 5 bedroom, 4 1/2 bathroom palace in the New York Sky was originally priced at $11.995 million, but now the girls will settle for $8.45 million.

It's one hell of a place, but we have a feeling it won't sell anytime soon. We think the twins are going to be stuck with it for a long, long time!

Might as well enjoy it!

no one wants to live in a tree. They should advertise this on troll.com

    that decor is hideous…

  3. 3

I bet they have dead movie stars stashed in the walls.

@jackassgal, I love the decor! I was just about to comment on how cute it was.

"It's one hell of a place, but we have a feeling it won't sell anytime soon. We think the twins are going to be stuck with it for a long, long time!"

Perez is now an expert on the state of the marketplace. He knows EVERYTHING!!!

The apartment is great, the building is the problem. It's not an attractive building. Besides they bought two other muti-million dollar apartments and then ended up renting two others to live in for like $30K a month! I think they're buying for long-term investement.

….one word, horrible. Boring, no one wants to live in NYC in the boring towers with white walls and terribly boring windows. There are soooo many beautiful buildings with character….Sell it to an arab for a party house, bring on the spitted goat!…….Merrill

The days of flipping are over, girls! It's short sale time!

And you know they'll be stuck with this because you're such a real estate expert? Pig Face, you're an ignorant, toxic douche. Stick to what you know…making a bit of cash slagging others.

Greedy little trolls. They'll be lucky to get one million for it, it is a white cave, no soul in the decor. I wouldn't take it if they gave it to me.

This looks great. Why are they trying to sell it? Just rent it out. I have a feeling the value will climb in a few years.

I think it's hideously decorated but I also think that building as a whole is pretty ugly. People who can spend $10+ million on an apartment are going to take location and outside appearance into account as well, I can guarantee it. The whole building is kind of modern but kind of ugly from the outside…the location is good, but for that money you could get a much prettier place.

it's actually pretty pathetic knowing how much money they have considering how untalented they really are, and they both always look like shit dragged backwards through a hedge

What a soulless nightmare this place is.

    flipping houses?? or bad investments?

  16. 16

I feel for them, but I can't quite reach them. That's pocket change for them.
