Scientology Leader Used Tom Cruise's Confessional Tapes To Entertain Friends!

| Filed under: Tom CruiseNicole Kidman

LOLs! Poor Tom!

Tom Cruise's BFF and Scientology leader David Miscavige secretly taped the actor's "confessionals" and showed them to his friends as entertainment!

Marty Rathbun, who was in charge of "auditing" Tom Cruise reveals:

"By order of Miscavige many of those sessions were secretly recorded by a well-concealed video camera and voice recorder system built into the VIP auditing room at Celebrity Center International.

"I was also required by Miscavige to write reports on the content of every session I delivered during that period and send them directly to Miscavige. I was told by him that he needed to know because recovering Tom to Scientology was the most important mission possible."

The tapes were recorded around the time Tom was going through his split from Nicole Kidman. Rathbun continues:

"DM regularly held court with others in his personal lounge…while sipping scotch whiskey at the end of the night. Miscavige would read Tom's overts and withholds from my reports to others, joking and laughing about the content of Tom's confessionals."

We bet they're HIGHlarious!

But what does Tom think of his beloved Scientology now?

    Waiting for the leak

  2. 2

    guess scientologist's don't believe in confidentiality………….

  3. 3

I don't adore Tom Cruise, but I feel bad for him, that he was betrayed by his Church. That shouldn't happen to anyone. And boy, that was stupid of them, because if Tom tells all their secrets, they'll lose a lot of support for sure. I don't see celebrities putting up with this….

  4. 4

Wow. I am not surprised. But "confession" in any religion (although Scientology is really a cult) is supposed to be sacred and confidential. I am thinking of the Catholic Confessional where it is truly a place where you can discuss, unburden and ask for forgivness with complete confidentiality. If this is true about these secret recordings, Tom should be really pissed, demand his $ back, and move on to something else. Of wait he can't since they will use the recordings for blackmail. That is their MO.

  5. 5

Well, what do you expect? There is no honor among thieves.
These BLACKMAIL FILES were never "confessional files", they were always for the purpose of BLACKMAIL.
And, now we find, also for the sport of the Chief Predators of the wacco Predatory Evil $pace Alien Mind Control CULT.
Tommy Boy figured he could enjoy being worshipped and getting the celebrity treatment at his CULT while ignoring all the damage his CULT is doing and has done.
Looks like KARMA has showed up.

  6. 6

They record every single session in those auditing rooms regardless of who is being audited. There is an auditor for the auditor. The fact that the head of scientology is using the transcripts from the audits for entertainment, goes completely against everything. This guy WILL be asked to leave and WILL be replaced.

Pray to Xenu? But in all seriousness, the answer is very simple… nothing. He's going to do nothing. If he does, the f*cktards at Scientology can tell every little detail and secret about his life, which is the exact reason why John Travolta didn't leave when his son died because he didn't get the right medication. They need to hide stuff… mainly the fact that they're gay.

  8. 8

I would doubt this is true, Because they are supposed to be buddy buddy and doing this to TOM, one of the biggest, if not the biggest, celebrity recruiter and biggest celebrity donor, THAT COULD BLOW THE LID OFF OF SCIENTOLOGY. Those two gays, uhm, nice straight men having a cat fight with each other? It could be the ugliest thing for Scientology and would probably be the end of Miscavage as leader

  9. 9

I think it just awful. Regardless of what is though of Scientology, it's Tom's spiritual guidance and solace. For the leader to use Tom's confessions during a trying time, for his entertainment is just dispicable. He should be forced to resign.

  10. 10

anyone remember when Tom was cool? like in Top Gun. sheesh. Scientology sure fucks people up in the brain.

  11. 11

wtf? if this is true i hope tom gets out now.

  12. 12

I fail to see how that's "HIGHlarious". It's terrible.

  13. 13

You may hate tom cruise, suri cruise and katie holmes, but that is just awful, for someone to sit in what is supposed to be a private confessional and have it made fun of. is anything not sacred?

  14. 14

I'm not a huge fan of Tom but that's really sad that his religion and church broke something so confidential AND mocked it for their own amusement.

Tom should get pissed off but he can't do anything about it because they use it as blackmail to keep them in their cult. It's really sad.

  15. 15

    Re: jeanmarie – agreed

  16. 16

Look am no Tom Cruise fan but that is just wrong and an invasion of privacy that no one should go through.

  17. 17

Perez, Why are you LOLs-ing? I don't like the Scientology "Religion", but if this is factual information I find it appalling and feel bad for Tom! Definitely NOT Funny! You really hate Tom Cruise that much, huh?

  18. 18

    Re: goddamnjesus

    Re: plain jane jones

    Also, I LOVE IvyLeagueBitch!

  20. 20

    Scientology kills!
    Remember Lisa McPherson

  21. 21

yeah I don't see what is "hilarious" about that either. I feel really bad for Tom. That is f-ed up

  22. 22

why do so many rich stars believe in that crap called scientology…can someone explain that????

  23. 23

Well what the hell did he SAY???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ….duh…

  24. 24

The only reason any of these people stay in this CULT in the first place is because these "confessional" tapes are intended to bribe these stars so they will stay in the CULT. Do you honestly think they really believe that aliens took over their bodies and all the other bullsh*t garbage they teach. Give me a break, and if they DO believe, then they deserve what they get cuz they are morons. I sometimes wonder if Tom actually does believe all that crap…wouldn't surprise me.

  25. 25

No matter what the religion or faith, that is just sad and cruel. There should be one place in the world where a person feels safe in confession, and if someone betrayed that trust for me, I would drop them faster than you can SAY "Scientology".

  26. 26

I have to wonder & question the timing of this story's release. Tom has a movie coming out soon & I wonder if this is part of creating sympathy for this asshole!! We read this story, feel sorry for him and go back to paying for the films he stars in. Don't buy any of this!!! I don't believe this shit!!

  27. 27

I like how Scientology is a Cult and Christianity is a respected religion. The only thing HIGHlarious here is how people I'm assuming believe the son of God died and rose from the death criticize how "ridiculous" it is for someone to believe in "aliens" or w/e else scientologists believe. Don't get me wrong, I think it's crazy too, but no less crazy than the Bible being the word of God. Grow up people.

  28. 28

    that's truly f-ed up

  29. Gigi7 says – reply to this

Tom, FYI, Real friends may want you to confess your secrets but they don't make a grab for your wallet afterward.

  30. 30

Haha. "The most important MISSION [im]POSSIBLE"

  31. 31

Re: ProfLinus – The Roman Church has been around for over 2000 years. The myth of the Christ is similar to that of earlier cults where the interrex is reborn, it mimicks the circle of death and resurrection of nature.
In olden religions, there is always a hero, who is sacrificed for the sake of his people. If you don´t understand it, you have no grasp of human nature and psyche.

  32. 32

Another example of why many have lost faith. What a horrible betrayal–even for Tom Cruise.

  33. 33

Proof that cult cannot be trusted.

  34. 34

Everybody loves gossip no matter who they are.

  35. 35

it's not a religion or a church! it's a cult which preys upon ignorant delusional people.

  36. 36

Typically, it is difficult to exit a cult, but I don't think will Tom blame the "church" for the misbehavior of one member enough to try to leave it. Maybe the will oust the guy and Tom can become the new Xenu Leader.

  37. 37

I'm not really a fan of the man, but COME ON, that's horrible thing to do to anyone. Especially when something like a divorce is going on and they are trusting these people in that way. I feel bad for him if it's true. I would never want anyone to be treated that way, especially by a member of their church.
    There's nothing HIGHlarious about it.

  38. 38

  39. 39

For this story to get traction, someone will have to come out with what David Miscavige said that Tom Cruise said in a confessional. In that way, it may get Tom Cruise's attention and he'll wonder how that person had access to his file, or he'll wonder if Miscavige is laughing at him behind his back. In that way, celebrity Scientology would start crumbling fast, with all of the scam to follow.

  40. 40

I think the HIGHlarious part of the piece was meant to be sarcasm.

  41. 41

That's pretty messed up if you ask me. He's a douche but didn't deserve that.

  42. 42

When you play with monkeys you are bound to have shit thrown at you.

    How's it feel now TommyGirl?

  43. 43

hmmmmm…..dont know whether to feel bad for him or do a told you so dance, lol. he probably knows something bad anyway and they only just came out with this to keep him from revealing anything bad… hmm……….thinking thinking…

  44. 44

    Fake friends, Fake religion.

  45. 45

As much as I loather Crusie for being a complete fool to have ever joined this cult.

I can honestly say I would very much ENJOY seeing him QUIT.

I'll bet Kidman is giggling like a schoolgirl.

  46. 46

Wow, it kind of makes it seem as though they might be keeping those confessions in the vault to blackmail you if you try to leave, doesn't it?

  47. 47

I strongly dislike Tom Cruise. He is an irrelevent egomaniac. But, having his confessions read out at parties, being mocked by somebody who is supposed to be helping him, and giving him spiritual guidance, is such a cruel atrocity.
Now, obviously most people realize that Scientology is a cracked-out cult, mainly about scamming money and controlling people just for the hell of it, but to people like Tom Cruise, they see it as the real deal, it's their faith, it's what their world revolves around, it's meant to be a good thing, a safe thing, something that will help them be better people, and I feel like this would be earth-shattering for him, and, for the first time ever, I feel bad for the guy.

  48. 48

I love Tom. He is a very sincere and kind person, he really is and he has been loyal to those pigs for years supporting them and risking his career for them. I wish he would come to his senses and leave them behind.

  49. 49

They do tape auditting sessions. It is true they are also used to blackmail. Why do you think Nicole Kidman refuses to utter a word about her scientology days or anything regarding her life with Tom? Why would she have so willingly stpped out of the lives of her children?

  50. @v@ says – reply to this

    Tom Cruise > David Miscavige.
Nothing uglier than a betrayal of confidence and trust for a personal laugh. Nothing. They might have laughed with him, but my bet is they were horrified.
    Team Cruise.

  51. 51

    Thats just wrong.

  52. 52

They'll deny and dis-credit this person like they do anyone who says things against them.
What's funny though is at the same time that their spokesperson, btw, what "religion" needs a spokesperson?, is saying this is a lie that they don't do this, he's talking about the marital woes and affairs of someone else who is saying this is true, so if they hold the confidentiality how would he know what was happening in this woman's marriage?

  53. 53

    Re: wwwtomakemoney.ws
Because it coddles them, it treats them as God's when they walk into the celeb center. It does their dirty work for them. And it teaches them that it is ok that they have all this wealth and that they are more special then the average person if they are a celeb. In other words, it feeds their ego and self-entitlement.

Re: OhBigDeal – They're tricked by the initial feel of fellowship, spirituality and sense of belonging. You call this fellowship? You can get fellowship from much superior, genuine and sincere groups.

  55. @v@ says – reply to this

If Rathburn is accurate, someone has a little green eyed monster going on about Tommy here. Levelling.

  56. 56

    Re: @v@
I don't understand what your trying to say? Where did I use the term fellowship?

  57. 57

I wished the media would get inundated with leaks from this and let it spread like wildfire. I want to see him fall and go stark raving mad. Smug bastard.
