You Can't Say "No" To Jay-Z!!!

He's a newcomer in the hip hop world, but the guy already understands the rules.

Over the weekend, Mr. Hudson, a British artist, had a gig in Manchester that he would later cancel to fly off to the states. Seems kind of rude, except he was specially requested by Jay-Z to perform with him on Saturday Night Live.

And who the hell in their right mind is going to say no to that?!

If you were watching, you would have saw him as the guy singing with Jay on the Forever Young duet.

If you missed it, watch it above!

mr. hudson has an awesome voice too bad he has an orangutan yelling in the background.

    6. 6

Jay-z really messes up this song. WHY…do people even like him??? He sucks!!!

    7. 7

they totally ripped a youth group song

    8. 8

I hate to say it, but Mr. Hudson sounded like shit on SNL.

    9. 9

Really liked Mr.Hudson—glad he made the trip as I hadn't heard of him before. Jay Z well, just OK.

    10. 10

Hudson was great, Jay Z, where is the talent. his first thing he did was so bad, I turned the sound down. People really buy that stuff and listen to it in thier homes?????

    11. 11

this is one of those songs that gets stuck in my head all day.

    12. 12

Hate to correct you Perez But the songs name is Young forever ….not forever young….and forever young is a classic song…Hate that Jay-Z reck it
come up with new material stop messing with the classics

    13. 13

Watched it live, and again just now - thought it not only an excellent performance, I give Jay-Z high marks of respect for dedicating such an appropriate song to Ms. Betty White.
He doesn't need the exposure or the money - just loves what he does . . .

Way to go Jay-Z! Not only are you a terrible "singer" you can’t even think of your own music. You have the audacity to cover a great song like "Forever Young" and ruin it! THINK OF YOUR OWN MUSIC AND TAKE SOME VOICE LESSONS. SHAME ON YOU FOR ALMOST RUINING BETTY WHITES NIGHT.

    15. 15

DAMN. Jay Z a music rap star. People are so easily amused!!!
      What a travesty!
      -
Jay Z should thank his lucky stars that the entertainment industy has morphed into one that you don't need to have talent. Last week, I couldn't even tell the difference between someone doing bad Trance and really bad R&B!
      -
Mr. Hudson is okay…I'd have to see him in concert to give a proper appraisal. Karl Hyde with the former, Underworld, does it so much better though.

    16. 16

"And who the hell in their right mind is going to say no to that?!"

      apparently alicia keys did

    17. 17

LOVED IT!!!!! Both of J's performances ROCKED!!!!!!!

    18. 18

"…you would have saw him…" You f***ing retard. Go back to school.

    19. 19

Forever Young was such an awesome song. No idea why they had to cover it.

    20. 20

i think the performance is horrible but i like jay-z

    21. 21

so he dropped his fans who paid for a concert to hot hot it and "sing" with Jay z? what a twat. his fans should now put him back where they found him…no where. Fans can do that you know hudson. You ungrateful, class free bitch!

    22. 22

Som rap/sung songs are ok, and others just do not work. This did not work because Jay-Z ruined it. I would rather have listened to Mr. Hudson sing it alone.

    23. 23

      Jay Z's amazing!

Wow that song is some corny bullshit.

    25. 25

What's with your Ingless today Perez? Would have saw him????…

    26. 26

Admit it Jay, you're a Freemason. Stop denying.

    27. 27

never heard of the guy. not that it will matter now. fans of his will not be happy he threw them over for a tv appearance.

    28. 28

      I liked it

    29. 29

i like the performance… i wondered who this guy was and why he wasnt wearing socks.

    30. 30

MC Hammer and my beloved Barry White, Arthur Prysock, Billy Eckstein, Isley Brothers have more talent in their pinky fingers than any of these rap 'stars' today.
      -
In my illustrious opinion, what killed black music is the fact no one could criticize gangsta rap without everyone yelling racist and we white folk can't stifle their ghetto experience.
      -
Well folks, this is what they ended up with. Crap!

    31. 31

      Loved that…

    32. 32

      horrendous

    33. 33

Yeah, I was wondering who the annoying bleached blonde guy was. Thanks for solving that mystery

    34. 34

it sucked, Jay Z is OVERrated, horrible mess, Mario its called Young Forever not Forever Young moron.

    35. 35

Jay-z is not that great. Hes only considered good coz hes a mason and thats how he got pushed. Without his politician buddies hes got nothing.

    36. 36

When you can't sing, you get someone to do it.

    37. 37

this performance blew chunks, ive seen more talent from a couple of 3 year olds

    38. 38

Yo yo yo, this sucked major!

    39. 39

I thought Mr. Hudson was amazing. Jay-Z's mike was too loud + I can't ever understand what he's saying except, "I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one."

    40. 40

That's such a great song Jay-Z ! How long did it take you to write it ?

    41. 41

      Re: Rican31 – I gotta agree w/ that . U can b my 51st state anytime.

JayZ has great taste along with my respect for bringing Mr. Hudson over to do this one particular and great song.
Even more major, major kudos to JayZ for doing this for Betty White.
      It so worked.

    44. 44

Re: PancakeSammich – I was going to say that too, it's unbelievable BigCreepyHeadOnFlaccidBody can't really write English..

    45. 45

mr hudson, does sound, err, a little rough here. Went and saw him in birmingham last night, he was ALOT better than this!
