    Hilarious.
    For the last year, at least, they've been trying to market this guy to be the next big thing in rap. He's very plain, has lame flow, looks like an asshole. (You know, the preppy high school type asshole)
    You don't badly act your way as a cripple in Canada for 5-6 years on Degrassi, and then use those contacts you made in "the biz" to record a "street-level mixtape" that suddenly, and inexplicably, leads you to a record deal in the US, without as much as a show/concert in Canada. You're a Canadian rapper Drake. Embrace that. Stay here and get mid-level.

    Sorry dude - 3:30 into the vid and I couldn't stand to listen to the mumblings anymore and had to shut it off. If you removed all that shit and just left the video to the actual music, I could tolerate it. This is one of the only songs by him that I've liked - but then again, I couldn't watch the whole video so I don't know if the whole song was good or not. 10 minutes is way too long for a music video unless you're showing some thrilling stuff. But listening to mumbles and watching Drake talk to an old dude - BORING!! Better luck next time, Drake.

    I'm a Drake fan, and I love the song…the video for me (as a Jamaican) is a little annoying because it represents one side of Jamaica that KEEPS getting shown…the good parts are never put on display the way these parts are. Anyway, it does tell a story which could be very legitimate. So I'll give it that…and I give Drake props for being willing to go there. Big up Movado (the 'bad man') in the vid! He's a great Jamaican artist :-)

    It's weird, I liked him on Degrassi, but since he became a rapper I can't stand him. I don't think he's talented, but that's just my opinion.

    if you're gonna hate on him- do it for legit reasons. don't throw the degrassi shit out there because if YOU got offered the kind of paycheck he did for that shit you'd take it too. don't criticize him for the YM thing because he's the only person on that label who has ANY shred of talent and that includes baby and wayne. Mandler is a genius and he and Drake to good work together. Mandler was able to capture the essence of the song, in my opinion and i think for FANS…it makes the song that much better to see a story put to it.
