You're aware that PETA believes in complete "liberation" of animals, whihc includes not owning pets or livestock, period. So her appearing with what looks like her pet dog is rediculous, shes blatently supporting somthing PETA is 100% against. stupid.

  12. 12

PETA believes in complete "animal liberation" whihc means they do not under any circumstances believe you should be able to have any form pet, or livestock, so basically shes supporting a group who, if had more power, would "liberate" her dog. These are alos the people who don't believe we should use service dogs for the blind or disabled, basically a bunch of morons.

There are a lot of foolish people out there who believe the lies told about PETA, perpetrated by corporate interests that profit from the exploitation of animals, and have a financial interest in making you believe their lies; after all, if you listen to PETA's message, you might actually heed your natural empathy for animals: you might educate yourself about the exploitation of animals, and you might actually change your view and decide to actively not contribute to the suffering and exploitation of animals.
The people who profit from the suffering of animals don't want that. In regards to this particular ad, the AKC (American Kennel Club) wants you to keep buying purebred puppies. Educate yourself about puppy mills, and consider that fact that even if you buy a puppy from a so-called 'ethical breeder', that you are contributing to the profit drive to keep producing puppies, which might not be a bad thing if there were homes for them all, but, as Jane says: 4 million are euthanized at American shelters every year… and make no mistake about it - euthanize means KILL. Beautiful, perfect, healthy dogs and cats, who are every bit as precious and deserving of love and life as your own beloved dogs and cats are killed. 4 million. Every year. In America alone.
Thank you, Jane Lynch - you are such a beautiful lady.

Re: VeganVal – Thats nice, but if you did your homework you would realise PETA doesn't want you to have any animal as a pet, period.

    Re: moneywagon
You do your homework, moneywagon, or keep believing the corporate motivated lies you've been spoon-fed, and seem very interested in having others believe, leading one to suspect you make the money on your moneywagon from the exploitation of animals.
    From PETA's official statement:
Contrary to myth, PETA does not want to confiscate animals who are well cared for and "set them free." What we want is for the population of dogs and cats to be reduced through spaying and neutering and for people to adopt animals (preferably two so that they can keep each other company when their human companions aren't home) from pounds or shelters—never from pet shops or breeders—thereby reducing suffering in the world.
I can't post URL's here but anyone interested can easily do their own research.

I cannot believe how many stars support PETA when ALL PETA wants is to end all pet ownership..they do NOT think we should have pets and in fact kill about 95% of those that they take in…read up on these people before you act as a spokesperson.

Hey, a PETA ad, and I'm not offended. Imagine that. This is better.

  19. 19

OMG YOU ARE SUCH A FUCKING HYPOCRITE!!! Someone from Glee supports PETA and suddenly you're not critisizing them?? You NEVER have a good word to say about PETA (why, I don't know - at least they're fighting for something honorable - all you do is slag people off). But here, of course, you don't say shit.

    Re: RedBlayze

can't post links apparently search peta kills animals

    youtube search peta kills animals

and look on petas own website where they would like to end all domesticated animals

peta has done a lot of good but they've also done a lot of bad, just last month at an AKC conformation show they had peta members put antifreeze in the dogs water bowls luckily it was caught and they were arrested.

    Re: VeganVal

if we didn't have reputable breeders we wouldn't have the pets we all love, we wouldn't have guide dogs, search and rescue dogs, police dogs, therapy dogs, herding dogs, etc.. responsible breeders aren't mass producing.
The blame for the shelter situation falls on puppy mills, commercial breeders and backyard breeders along with irresponsible pet owners that dump their pets because they break up with their significant other or move or just don't have time etc.. the people that buy a dog because its cute and have zero clue about how much work it takes.

BTW a real reputable breeder (i'll use GSDs as an example because thats the breed I know best) puts well over $20,000 into the training of just one dog out of a breeding pair that doesn't include food, toys, vet care etc.. just training. they make no profit from producing litters. If you believe otherwise then you are the one thats been brainwashed.

PETA has admitted to the killing of the animals in their care but they claimed the animals were too ill or injured to live a good life…not true their dogs and cats were pets not lab animals

Re: VeganVal – Thats bullshit, dig a little deeper and stop believeing what you want to believe, you do also know that peta has funded numerous acts of domestic terrorism? Yes, paid for some of their hardline members to burn and vandalize labs and animals shelters, PETA is a horrible organization, but since you're clearly a close minded vegan whos probably sitting at home typing on an imac, sitting on a hemp mat with dreadlocks, i can't possibly expect you to understand anything outside of your own little activist bubble
