ABC's new thriller Happy Town has already been pulled from the schedule! The remaining five episodes will air beginning June 5.

And another one bites the dust!

      I tried it for maybe 10 minutes. It was horrible. And it just makes me more mad at ABC. They had such a wonderful show in Pushing Daisies and they cancelled it. For what? Crap like this? Please.

      This show is terrible, I can't believe they canceled Eastwick and replaced it with this crap. I thought Linsay Price was smoking hot.

      That's crazy ABC. If a show isn't a hit immediately networks now yank a show even though they have huge $$$ invested in it.

      "Happy Town" is a good show. I'm looking forward to the remaining episodes - great tv mystery writing!

      I watched the two first episodes, they weren't great, but not terrible either. Would have like to see where they were going with it. They didn't even give it a chance.

      the first episode hooked me, the second episode confused me. I guess i'll watch the other 5, assuming they tell a complete story with them

      the first episode was promising and i was excited to see where they were taking this story but the second episode was just ridiculous. I knew this show wouldn't last long. TV Execs need to stop trying to re-create another series like Lost and need to focus on writing shows that are actually decent. Good Riddance HappyTown

      I haven't seen the show so I can't comment on its quality, but cancelling it after only 2 episodes seems harsh. We've all seen terrible shows that should have never been made but still get to finish the season before an official announcement.

      I was actually looking forward to how the story was going to unfold. It was totally different from anything on TV. It seems that if you actually have to do some thinking to understand a plot that means it's a bad show which is TOTALLY not the case. Not everyone wants to watch spoiled rich kids sleep around with each other like on Gossip Girl and other frivilous shows. Wish ABC would have given this show a chance.

      I watched the first on air, and the 2nd today online. The show isn't terrible, but it tries too hard to be interesting. It's like every show now is trying to be the next Lost, and failing miserably.

      This show was filmed in my town! Although we all knew that the places used in the show were only our town from the outside and a studio from the inside, it was still fun to watch. Its a shame they're cutting it out. Bring back LIFE AS WE KNOW IT (remember with Kelly Osbourne? Filmed in British Columbia!!!) ABC!

      Watched most of teh first episode with the hubby and was bored. SO took it off the DVR and didn't look back. They should put Legend of the Seeker on instead! :D

      I tried watching the show on my dvr and even fast forwarding through it was boring! they need higher quality shows with better advertising! It looked like a good show but was boresville!

      Typical. You could tell it was building up to be something - but nothing will catch on in only two episodes. I dont know why I even bother giving any of the major networks a chance anymore.

      I rarely give new shows a chance anymore. Why invest time when the networks cancel them after 2 episodes? It took Seinfeld like 2 seasons to start picking up steam. Sad to think that show wouldn't have lasted in today's environment.

      I've watched it! It's actually a pretty good show -well written, good chemistry….ugh. Make it a 'summer run' and bring it back in the summers - like Burn Notice and Eureka!

      The show reminded me a lot of Twin Peaks, which was another GREAT show that got canceled. It's because most of the American public doesn't have a brain and prefers ridiculous shows that don't require a lot of thought.

      I actually enjoyed this show… Sam Neil is fantastic in it. I think they just put it on to late in the season or it should have run as a summer show.

      The acting wasn't the greatest but the story did kinda leave you wondering how it was all gonna play out at end.

      I was watching Happy Town and loving it, couldn't wait for the next episode, why do they take off great entertainment and leave us with the reality crap. Bring back the good old mystery PLEASE!!!!!

      WTF, ABC?! I am sick of trying to invest myself in a show, and you immediately cancel it. This happened with October Road not that long ago. People aren't going to start watching your dramas when they know you cancel them within weeks…Ridiculous!

      Why don't they try moving a couple of the ABC family shows over, and while they're at it, get the people who wrote China Beach, Thirty Something, and My So Called Life. THEY knew how to write shows.

      I watched this show and liked it…I hope they keep it/bring it back. It was one of the few shows I actually watched.
