Heroes Is No More!

Hayden Pain-In-The-Ass' iconic cheerleader character may not be able to die, but the show in which made her famous can and most likely will.

Sources are suggesting that NBC is feeling so confident about its upcoming line-up of new shows that they are considering NOT bringing back the series Heroes for one final superpowered season. Nothing official has been announced yet, but the suits are seriously looking into giving the show the ax.

Can't say that we blame them, with its rock-bottom ratings and its hefty production budget. What a waste of time and money!

However, NBC realizes that there are a few million fans still left in the world who still care about the show and for them, there is talk about a TV movie to wrap things up. Again, nothing official - just the minds of network television brainstorming on ways to sell ad space.

Are U sad to see Heroes go?

    NO! Buh bye!

I am sad the network digged it's own grave, i can't even remember when is the last time they show a new episode and to tell you the truth i don't care about it anymore, they made us forget and lose interest, if it comes back, i will watch the episodes left, but if they don't even show those, i don't care anymore, i am tired of the sh*t of the networks.

  3. 3

    People actually watch NBC?

  4. 4

Good riddance, never cared for the show.

  5. 5

Bummer. It was still a good show. May have gotten off track but I enjoyed it.

  6. 6

I used to like the show, but it's become pretty shiteous as of late. I think it's probably time to let it go..

  7. 7

They did this to themselves. This show used to be the best show on television. Season one anyway. Then season two was decent, but started to go off kilter. Season 3 was a little better, for five minutes, then they went crazy again. After that I don't know what happened, but it was horrible. Now, I don't remember when the last time an episode even aired.

well PEREZ PINEAPPLE -HEAD, why dont you wait for an official announcement versus speculation then

This once fantastic show wasted so many episodes on the plot "Claire is mad…daddy is lying to her…claire is pouting." The show was supposed to be about people with fantastic abilities and instead all we got was a poutfest focusing on some Hayden's character. The irony being that hers was the character that most needed to be killed off. This show is a victim of writers not wanting to have to write for new characters.

It was sooo good in the beginning, but then it started getting old. Should not have gotten rid of the little boy. And they totally ditched the new heros that were in season two. Its like they got brand new writers or something.

  11. 11

Heroes is no more? Nowhere in that article does it say that it's been canceled. Fucking idiot.

  12. 12

I'm sad that they fucked up so badly. Heroes had the potential to be one of the all-time best television shows, but the writing went seriously downhill starting in season 2.

  13. 13

…bailed after the first season…total major wank job….

  14. 14

As soon who has seen every episode and even uses Heroes as teaching material to second-language students, I can say that the storyline started to become pretty annoying in the second season, become too difficult to follow in the third and then suddenly became too slow in the fourth (even though that season was quite good). My recommendation is for the cast to go on the path that they had originally envisioned and change the characters every season. Claire is annoying as hell and the struggle against Sylar is getting a little too complicated. I'm always happy to see new characters appear and then sad to see them become nothing more than a means to an end.

I just want to add that the show would have remained ratings gold had Bryan Fuller never left the production team to work on something else. He was the guy who filtered all of the stupidity from what it seems.

Aww I'm gonna miss it. I loved Heroes. They were running out of ideas in the end, with all it's twists and turns from the original story line it lost it's edge. If they do come back I'll still watch

  17. 17

    Heroes sucks

  18. 18

Will miss it as much as I will miss Lost. ZERO!

  19. 19

No!!!! The nerd in me loves this show! They should at least do one last season!

  20. 20

I am sad, after botching up some seasons, the last season was fantastic. I would like to see it renewed for 1 more season to wrap things up, that's the least they can do for their fans who stuck through it.

  21. 21

Ughhh!!! So SHITTY!! i just started watching all the seasons of the show and I was so looking forward to watching the next season plus the seasons to come…..

  22. 22

Season 1 was great and Season 2 was average and it's just gone downhill from there.

  23. 23

Booo. I love Heroes! I hope they do make that TV movie… =/

  24. 24

I still like the show, I would like to see them go out right

    25

    Never got into it

  26. 26

Heroes sucks. Don't care if it's canceled, maybe it will be replaced with an actually good show..

  27. 27

First season was great. The other seasons had a few good moments but basically sucked. To many new characters, lost focus of the original ones. The more they tried the worst it got.

  28. 28

I'm actually really sad to see it go. If they don't renew I hope they at least make a movie to give some closure.

  29. 29

    I love heroes :(

  30. 30

i liked that show, but at least quinto will be freed up to do more stuff!
wont mind them ending the series since i hate NBC but i hope theyll at least do the movie

    31

This is not true, there's more shows on NBC that are likely to be cancell rather than Heroes, for example Chuck

  32. 32

I have watched this show from day one and although sometimes it was a little ridiculous and there were too many story lines, I really hope it's renewed. I thought this last season was great, and us big Heroes fans cannot just be left with the cliffhangers! If they do cancel the show, I really hope they will give us the TV movie to tie everything up.

  33. 33

Nope I wish it were true, but for some reason nbc keeps renewing this trash.

  34. 34

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! The show can't be done….it's the best show ever!!!!!!!!!!

  35. 35

Please give it a proper ending! That's the least NBC can do.

  36. 36

I didn't even notice that the show was still alive! I give a damn if it dies

  37. 37

oh no :( I know it was shitty during volume 4, but at the end of vol 5 it came back to being pretty awesome! i really hope the make at least a last volume :/

  38. 38

Who cares. The storylines have majorly sucked since season one.
Too many ugly old women in that show too. Who wants to spend an hour staring at closeups of wrinkles and warts.

  39. 39

Yes I'm SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…I hope they don't kill it, but if they have to, a Movie would be great…

  40. 40

Things got off track ever since the writer's strike - but started to seem better, then got a little funky towards the end of the last season. I think given the chance they could really pull through - in fact, I think they could go another 2 seasons if they did it right. I REALLY hope they do!

  41. 41

I think they should make a movie or a couple of extra episodes on this season to wrap up all the loose ends. I hate it when shows just get cancelled in the middle of a storyline like for example, Veronica Mars or Eastwick.

Re: Spooge – what a daft remark! It isn't a beauty contest! I love that they use such interesting characters! I am assuming you are about 12 anyway….
