Glee creator, Ryan Murphy, spilled the juiciest Gleek secret of all - they are in talks with Britney Spears!

YES! Amazeballs!

When asked about the progress of the episode, Ryan revealed:

"We love Britney, we're talking to Britney. I think you have to be very careful on the show not to do too many tribute episodes. but she certainly has a huge body of work to pull from and the kids grew up with her so that is a consideration, they love her. "

And we love her! Everyone loves her!

Maybe she'll even make a cameo?! Maybe she'll sing with Lea Michele?!?!

Wouldn't U just love that?!

      … you would love it if she was on Glee. Lea Michelle's voice would really overshadow Britney's because Britney just doesn't have the pipes. She's not very good at acting either. They're already doing Lady Gaga, after Madonna. I think doing a Britney episode too would cause the novelty to wear off.

      So funny that Gaga's fans think that GLEE will do a tribute to Gaga. They are playing only two songs in a normal episode, there is not a tribute.
      Only Madonna, Michael Jackson or big names in the music can get a tribute.
      Like it or not britney has been out there for 11 years, she is the best selling female since 1999. The last year she got 2 Hot 100 number ones. She is still relevant after so many years, somthing that other artist with great voice can't say.

A good example is what Travis did with "Hit me baby", gave it a completely new feel and it WORKS. When the base of a song is good the possibilities are endless. I would love to see what some of these songs are like when actually performed by someone who can SING them beautifully.
