Marilyn Manson and fiancee Evan Rachel Whore are attached to star in Adam Bhala Lough's Splatter Sisters, a "sexploitation-serial-killer-slasher-road-movie circa 1989."
The film was announced at Cannes with filmmaker David Gordon Green saying:
"This is a role Marilyn Manson was born to play, and with Evan Rachel Wood bringing dramatic gravity to the ensemble, I have no doubt this will take the horror genre to a new level."
Well that sounds right up their alley — we think we'll pass on it!

I get the one hit wonders of the 80s, the big hair 80s, and all the pop culture of the 80's, but Marilyn Manson is NOT that good of a performer to pull this one off. A snore fest that only die hard fans would want to see. Does he even have any of those left?

I think this will be amazing. Marilyn is my idol, and Evan Rachel is a good actress, I've loved all of her roles so far. I will definitely be watching this.
Evan Rachel Wood is a disturbed YOUNG woman and she is lowering her cred as a very talented actress (even though Perez hates her) by making any kind of venture with this guy.

See, I like Marilyn, though I can't say much for his choice in women. You know what? Good for them! I think it's great that he's gonna be in this movie. He seems like he'd be in his element. I just kinda wish we could get rid of Miss Evan. She annoys me. At least Marilyn's got his own thing going.
