Sarah Jessica Parker is on a media tour this week promoting the Sex & The City sequel, which means she is going to be asked the same dumb questions and give the same dumb answers to every entertainment news outlet imaginable.
She got one good question though during a recent interview, but her answer still remained kind of stoopid. She was asked who she would like to see play a younger Carrie Bradshaw should the latest Candace Bushnell novel, The Carrie Diaries, be turned into a movie. (We all know it will happen sooner or later.)

Seriously, I love this site; I have it bookmarked in my Google Toolbar and visit many times a day, and have for years. I've also been a fairly regular commentator for a long time, and if you look back at my older comments, you'll see that I always have stood up for Perez, as I believe he is very good hearted, and this site has always been fun… and I hate to see that changing.

I don't understand the hatred for this woman, or the cruelty over her looks. Why? Seriously, why? You hate her for her face? That's just bizarre. She puts herself together very well, and she has forged a very, very successful career for herself through hard work. She didn't get by on her looks, and she didn't sleep her way to the top. She's not out partying it up; she's home with her family. And, I've seen her in person, and she's actually quite pretty and seems sweet. So, frickin lay off already.

Look at what they did for Brad Pitt during the Benjamin Button (Bunton?) movie…i think if they really really wanted to do SJP they could do it. the question is a) would the studio want that because it limits the audience…not teen is gonna associate to her as easily as the adults associate to her b) are they willing to put that much money behind a prequel which hasn't even had a tv run and may not really capture the current SATC fans.

I like Sarah Jessica, but I sincerely think she has to be real here. I mean not only that let some poor young girl have a chance at it too. I am sure they could find a decent young girl somewhere, and I don't really like all these people trashing her looks either. She is not a conventional beauty. Some of her own real clothes are certainly not up to par with Sex in the City and that is something I definitely think she doesn't have is a real sense of style, but trashing her looks is downright low. You can't help what you were born with unless you become one of those plastic dolls, and at least she actually takes good care of herself. She seems in great shape.

Never did get it. Those early SATC shows were just horrendous. She is HIDEOUS. Doesn't matter how nice her body is - she's a total butter-head. Maxim got it right on the HUGE NOSE — she is the most unsexy/unattractive woman around. Crap-hole actress too. The worst was when she was grossly over-acting whenever she tried to eat food sexy or bite her lip. All that did was call attention to that disgusting wart & make it stick out. Nothing sexy about that. I hope Chris Noth & John Corbett got the big bucks for kissing her. You know their faces brushed up during that giant, whiskery chin wart during love scenes. (Gag).
