So basically she hardly eats?

Christina Milian maintained a strict diet of water, raw vegetables and salads to lose the baby weight after giving birth to daughter Violet Madison back in February.

"A lot of liquids, a lot of water, a lot of raw vegetables and salads. I stuck to that and it all came off," she reveals.

Milian says she's also breastfeeding which she believes helped her lose the weight. She says:

"I always pump everywhere. It's a little embarrassing to say but it's part of the whole thing. Violet is just always so happy the second she wakes up. She has a smile on her face. She's the best baby ever."

Congrats on the baby — but maybe you should eat something so you actually have the energy to take care of her!

    im assuming she eats other food…but lots of water & raw veggies help thats no new secret.
    and im pretty sure the breastfeeding helps…i could be wrong..but i swear i heard it does?

    It's great that she lost the baby weight and everything, but I sure hope she ate more than that while breastfeeding or at least supplemented with formula. You're supposed to eat a few hundred more calories a day then you normally do to help baby get all the nutrition she needs. Baby comes first! Mommy's hot bod is second.

    There are NO nutrients in water, vegtables and well, salads to provide the proper nutrients in breast milk. It seems to me, that she only cares about her figure in order to get more work, but also to be recognized as someone amazing for lozing weight so drastically. This is in no way the right thing to be putting out thereor young girls. Your supposed to loze weight gradually and over an extended period of time. Sick, that actress's such as this one, think its o.k to do what they do, and than pass the advice down to young girls and woman looking for the right way to do things.

    So she's basically on a raw food diet. I did that 100% for a few weeks and the lump I had went away and I gained so much energy. kleeow, there are tons of raw food moms and kids around. I'm sure they didn't mention every single thing she ate. I make 'burgers', 'tuna', 'pizza' and wraps with ONLY raw veggies nuts and grains. And you don't hungry because your body is fed with all the vitamins and nutrients it needs. You don't get that tired feeling after a meal either. Try it.

    If she's breastfeeding then she needs to be eating MORE calories then normal because she's, uh, producing MILK to feed another human being. Hope you like osteoporosis, bitch!

    Breastfeeding alone helps you lose weight. There's no reason for her to be on a diet like that. Congrats to her for caring more about her figure.

    Bad idea to just eat raw veggies when you are breastfeeding. Baby needs more nutrients than salads. Plus it sends a bad message to new moms. I have great recommendations on my site. www.healthgirltv.com

    All you vegans know best. Anyone who tries to tell you something other than what your sure you know, is just raw sewage to you. Whatever your doing, your overrunning your body. i.e. Giving it to much power, as opposed to just giving it enough. Which is how you maintain, perfect energy all the time. All I say is "Whatever".

    Thank you for clarifying that for that other party Trinigirl.I recently became a pescotarian I feel great after getting rid of land animals from my diet. Don't know if I would go raw after just having a baby though.

    I'd consider doing a raw diet to loose a few vanity lbs, NOT after having a baby though. How are you supposed to ingest enough calories to produce wholesome milk? Furthermore, my doctor made it clear after I had my daughter to make sure my diet was as balanced as possible. Yes, that included adding a small amount of fat and some CARBS everyday. GASP! I had a rough pregnancy where I was sick every single day allllll the way through. After I had her, I still didn't have a super appetite, but I forced myself to eat often for her. My quality of milk was especially vital, because my daughter was born premature. I know hollywood is all about perfection, but isn't your child infinitely more important than how others perceive you? You have to make sacrifices to do what's best for them and while not always easy, selflessness comes with the mommy territory!

A WOMAN WHO IS BREASFEEDING AND HAS A RAW DIET IS ACTUALLY GIVING HER BABY, THE BEST TYPE OF MILK! ONE THAT IS FILLED WITH TONS OF VITAMINS AND LESS ICKYNESS… IF YOU GET WHAT I MEAN. ITS TIME FOR PEOPLE TO GET INFORMED. ITS NOT NORMAL FOR US TO DIE AT 72 (AVERAGE AMERICANS DEATH)… WE SHOULD LIVE WAY PAST THAT AND OUR DIETS ARE THE PLACE TO START IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE THAT.

    Re: xoxo_anonymous – You are right on! It does help. I'm a mom of two and I never gain a lot of weight when pregnant. But, when I breast feed the weight comes off. Plus, you have to have extra calories to make the milk and have the energy to do all the things you need to do. I hope I said everything right. But, yes you are right. And it is healthy for the baby.

    So here's the thing, what she is on is called a raw food diet, and they are GOOD for you! You can do all your own research, I'm honestly not inclined to post it myself. The thing is however, you should NEVER go on a raw food diet if you plan to breast feed, because your body is going to go into detox mode, and if you're detoxing all of your toxins are going to go into your baby's milk. So while I condone what she is doing by going raw, I don't condone it while breast feeding unless she's been on it for years and years and her body is clean!

    I've really never liked Christina Milian's music, and she seems kind of slutty and REALLY stupid to me, but I hope somebody can reach out to her and tell her that if she wants to lose the weight she just needs to go vegan for right now!
