    I can't believe they are going to do a second episode with her. I love Glee, but it is a bit much to do two episodes with her. I would think they should slow down on doing all these shows with so many people wanting to do a whole show of just them too. I think these people are trying to get a boost in their online sales and it will only be to Glee's expense. Having said that they should only do songs from back when Madonna still had some sing chops. Not any of her newer stuff. Ray of Light was ok, and that was all done with machines. I could just imagine hearing her for real.

    La Isla Bonita and Live to Tell, please. I'm surprised they didn't already incorporate Papa Don't Preach, too. Would have worked perfectly with the Quinn storyline.

    Dude, they should steer clear of anything she did after 1993. I was a huge Madonna fan until she decided to go all weird and psychedelic on me. But that's just my humble opinion.

His album INVINCIBLE sold more than Madonna's MUSIC that was released the previous year, and this was in spite of the fact that Sony dropped promotion of the record halfway during its run. His THRILLER album was re-released in 2008 as a 25th anniversary edition (mind you, he was still alive then), and was one of the best selling albums of that year, despite the fact that it has already been re-released and remastered twice prior to that. Let's see Madonna do that with re-releases of her back catalog.
    If he didn't have success like you think, it was due to lack of output and new material rather than him being a failure, unlike Madonna, who has to work her ass off and keep putting out albums and tours and do lame GLEE episodes in order to stay relevant.

    The episode was alright, but it definitely wasn't their best. In my personal opinion, they should feature more variety instead of just focusing on one artist. It was nice to do a tribute episode, but why have more than one? That's just overkill. I can see why big fans of Madonna would love it, but not all Glee fans adore Madonna. I think she's alright, but there are other artists out there deserving of recognition.

    In the 15 years prior to his death, he's had a successful greatest hits album, a successful studio album, several hits, some that went to #1 internationally as well as in the US, a success Thriller Re-package, not once but twice, and what would have been a sold out show. A lot of has-beens would kill for that success (no pun intended)
    If you to want match his success with Madonna, which for some odd reason Madonna fans love to do (insecurity about her, I guess), she's on par with him in terms of success within the last 10 years. Since 2001, her success on the US singles charts has been hit or miss, just like MJ (and no she wasn't banned from radio because of her views on George Bush; she was just releasing shit no one would play), as well as up or down album sales, and a successful tour. So if you're saying MJ hasn't been successful within the 15 years, you're saying Madonna hasn't been either.

     I don't watch Glee. I didn't even watch the Madonna episode, though I love her. But, as far as I can see, it was a successful episode. It was all over the media, everybody talked about it. The Madonna album was the first Glee album to be #1. Those who hate Madonna no matter what are just fools. Like her or not, she's brilliant. Respect. And those numbers just prove it (aside from her latest tour being the top grossing tour ever done by a solo artist).

     I feel sorry for those who say things like "they need to do a Michael Jackson episode". Sorry. But Madonna stands for everything that is positive: free yourself from pre-existing models, express yourself, know your body, know who you are, change, learn, improve yourself. No other female has ever done that like her (Gaga and Xtina have the same exact discourse, 20 years after Madonna, do they really believe they do something new? Is it really necessary? Still? Can't they go further?).
     Michael Jackson stands for depression, no control over his own career, not even his personal life, drug abuse and crazyness. Just like Britney. Can you imagine? An apisode that revolves around a person who has those attributes? Madonna, above all her qualities, have always been healthy and taken care of herself (yet, another reason to love and admire her).
