Sources are claiming that wedding plans for Carrie and her hockey beau Mike Fisher are near completition and that the couple could be heading down the aisle soon.
How soon? "Real soon," says an insider.
With the location set, the menu picked and the bride as beautiful as ever, there doesn't seem to be any hold up at all!
Perhaps there will be a June wedding on the horizon???

I also think this marriage won't work due to her career. What is Fisher going to do during the off season, babysit dogs while she is on tour during the summer. He will get bored and stray. That is what usually happens to athletes marriages. He's a good looking guy who will get even more female attention now that he gets more famous by his marriage to CU.
I love Carrie Underwood, I think she is one of the most beautiful women on the planet but I can't believe she's marrying Mike Fisher! Maybe they're getting married now since the Sens suck so bad they have a LONG summer to contend with and Fisher's going to have to stick his ass in training camp until October to ensure he doesn't have another shitty season. I mean, Hillary Duff may be marrying someone from an even worse hockey team (the worst in the NHL this season… by a LOT) but that least that guy was rich before he went pro. Fisher is going to be washed up in no time.

I saw her concert in Las Vegas last Saturday and she was simply amazing. One of the best live shows ever. It is an experience to see her live because her vocals are outstanding with each song. The arena was sold out and they were on their feet for her after each number. If you want to see a great show–go see her. You will not regret it. She is the best that came out of Idol and desrved all the awards that have been given to her. If you hate her, then hate her but I don't know why. She is sweet, humble and loves her fans. i wish her all the happiness with Mike.

Carrie took her win 5 years ago and has worked her ass off to earn all of this ever since. She went back AFTER Idol and finished her degree, and then put her nose to the music grindstone and managed to turn out a body of work that will support touring. She's earned her Entertainer of the Year wins, and I don't think it accidental, because she's not lazy, and she's smart. It also helped that Country Music seemed a bit stagnant, which made her look really good in comparison.
