Katherine Jackson suffered a fall on May 17, but luckily walked away with only cuts and bruises. However now people close to the family are concerned about her health and the ability to take care of her grandchildren!
The 80-year-old won custody of Michael Jackson's children, Paris, Prince and Blanket, but it might be too much for her to handle! An insider reveals:
"She's taken on way too much for a woman of her age but refuses to delegate the care of her grandchildren to others. She has aged enormously and is desperately hanging on for the sake of her children, but her collapse on the stairs shows how fragile she really is.
"She's the glue that holds the whole family together. If something happens to her, it would be all-out war."

MJ's will states that his first choice for guardianship of the kids go to Katherine. It's what he wanted.
Those poor kids won't stand a chance if she dies or becomes invalid. Michael's father would be renting them out to the circus before it's over.

My Grandmother just fail in the garage last week and she is 79 but she is more capable of more things then you are. People fall and *NEWSFLASH* to you elderly people fall too but how is Ms. Katherine any different from anyone else? Leave the Jackson's alone already! I hope she is OK but the media blow's things out of proportion ALL the time and this is yet another example of that.

Perez, I wish you would fall down the stairs and go into a 40 year coma. The world would be so much better off. I bet you're waiting for her to get hurt again or die, which is horrible, just so you can poke fun at the Jackson family. They are people too. People who are going through a really hard time. Re: imawesome – Joe raised 9 kids under the most difficult conditions. He denied himself everything to lead them out of poverty and turn them into international success and fame. Name me one American father, black or white who could follow this act? Joe has done a magnificent job raising his kids, and none of his critics could have done better under similar circumstance, raising NINE kids.

I have a problem with Katherine raising these kids when the daughters and Michael's brothers are younger and don't assume responsibility for it. Katherine has raised her kids, and she's what, 80? Janet or Reby or Tito or Marlon or someone needs to step up, and offer BIG assistance here or they will lose her prematurely. Janet would be ideal.

Well I prefer to call her Ms. Katherine, out of respect for the elderly. To answer your question, MJ's will states that the 2nd person granted guardianship of the kids is Diana Ross. If that wouldn't work out, I've heard the Jackson family say that Rebbie was another good possibility because she's raised a family of her own. As far as Joe, I don't know. I haven't heard his name mentioned in regards to obtaining custody. The kids have a huge family who are there for them…
Re: kimmygirl – janet does take care of michaels children… along with the rest of the family… yes katherine has custody but in reality the whole family are there for the children. people seem to assume prince paris and blanket are tied to katherine 24 hours a day, 7 days a week but this is not the case.

GEEZ! People need to calm down about MJ's kids. It was his kid's and if he wanted his mother to take care of them, then it's his choice. We CAN'T control what decisions he made and I think he made both a bad and good mistake to choose his mother. Just leave the Jackson's alone and stop talking about his kids cuz this is wht he exactly DIDN'T want them to be exposed to. I dnt care if u dnt like this comment, but it's the truth.
