Charlie Sheen's Plea Deal Could Send Him To Jail

Charlie Sheen's lawyers and prosecutors are currently hashing out four different plea deals that Charlie can choose from in his domestic violence case.

His first option includes pleading guilty to a misdemeanor and serving 30 days in an Aspen jail. If he enters the plea as early as June 7, he would immediately being serving his time, which could be lowered to 17 days with good behavior.

Other options include receiving a "deferred prosecution," which means the case would not move forward, however Charlie would have to agree to several conditions, including not breaking the law. And we all know how hard that is for Charlie, so option #2 might not be the best idea!!

The other option would have Charlie plead guilty to a misdemeanor, but instead of agreeing to a short jail sentence, he'd be on probation for 2 years, which is a concern for Charlie's reps because if he does slip up, he'd be serving a much longer sentence than just 30 days.

And finally, he can just take the case to trial and fight it, which might not be the best idea. Sources are saying that Charlie is upset that Tito Ortiz got away with what he thinks was a lot worse than what he allegedly did to his wife.

He should just plead guilty and do the time!

Plead guilty and do the time? I disagree. Deferred prosecution with the case not moving forward, with conditions that an intelligent but off course guy like Charlie could navigate. A man's got his pride. I'd truly hate to see him go inside.

It's easy, if you didnt hold a knife to her and threatin her, plead inocent. If he did do the time and move on with your life.

I am so sick of hearing about him! They should have locked him away years ago and fixed him! NO they let him go re-marry, procreate, give him a TV show, go figure! Sheen has always been scum and always will, karma's a bitch and he is only getting what is coming to him!

Well, things unfolded quite differently in Ortiz's case. Local authorities later chose not to pursue the case, citing a lack of collaboration from the witness.

Yeah, but I heard that his producers not only retained his violent ass, but they are even paying him a huge sum of money to do so. Therefore, the message that sends to him and to every other violent person in the universe is that it's fantastic to be domestically violent and you will be rewarded for it. >:-D
