As of this week, Lady GaGa's latest hit, Alejandro, is at the #9 spot on the United World Chart.
This makes her album, The Fame Monster, the only record in HISTORY to spawn seven worldwide Top 10 hits! She has just surpassed the likes of Michael Jackson, who's Thriller album contains six songs to make it into the Top 10!
This is EPIC!!!!

Perez, this really is a mark against your credibility when you don't even have the ability when it comes to Gaga to realize that the record WAS NOT broken because The Fame and The Fame Monster are two separate albums (as Gaga has stated herself).

again PerLez, we are not STUPID! Quit trying to sell us your half-truths. HALF of those songs were from one album, the other HALF was from another album. Thriller only had 8 songs on it TOTAL. Michael wasn't able in those days to release another album with 12 more songs on it, give it a slightly different name, and pretend that it's all one album. This is CHEATING what you're doing, and it is LYING to try to make it into a much bigger deal than it is. God, that is so SAD!
well i say everyone should start out with one album and then keep re-releasing it with new material so that they can keep adding songs that can make it to the Top 10 so they can break this record….hey maybe by the end of this bitch's career she will have a CD with 100 songs on it! your ability to stretch for compliments to give to this twat is amazing

That's nice and congrats to Gaga, but are not the Fame and The Fame Monster two seperate albums? She had four from the Fame and now three from Monster…Thriller still has her beat since it was released in only one way…10 tracks of pure perfection.

Give it some time…Where's Jennifer Lopez? Three years ago she was one of the most popular and followed stars, yet now her fame has waned…The public is fickle.It's not enough to just keep releasing music and expect it to sell and get hits…Gaga actually has to change her sound and image to keep the public interested…We'll just see. I think she may around for a while but surely not as long as Madonna has been around. That's like once in a millenium that someone did that. She's been working at a consistent pace for nearly 30 straight years filled with hits and MANY comebacks. Let's wait to see if Gaga can do that.

It doesn't seem right that she should be given that honor. She rereleased the album with more songs, basically just releasing a totally new album attached to the old one. There was The Fame and then The Fame Monster. It was one album it was two. M.J. had 6 Top 10 worldwide hits out of an album with only 9 songs on Thriller. Gaga had 7 #1 worldwide hits spread across technically 2 albums with a total of 22 songs. They need to rethhink the honor they gave her. It's nowhere as impressive as what M.J. did 25 years ago.

Alejandro sucks, I don't know why all her ass kissing fans don't see this. I love Gaga, but that's the worst song on both albums. The only reason why it's doing well in the charts is cause of her ass kissing fans who will buy, vote and get every little shit that says Gaga on it.

Barbra Streisand has been consistent with her success (meaning she's had the same type of success she's had when she first started) for nearly 50 years, and even though her music changed with the times (although for the most part, stayed the same), she's never had to re-invent herself, other than a few bad perms during the years.
