    it's actually called "fast car"not cars… this is a really good version! the best cover of this song is by Mutya Buena (look it up!) her version is awsome i prefer it to the original even.
    Kelly is an awsome singer, i wish her record label would stop crushing her creaticity! i hate when labels do that, look at Joss Stone her last album "colour me free" was AMAZING but because the label said it wasn't "commercial" enough it took her 3 years to get it out and the label wouldn't make a vid or promote it….

    Kelly's yelling too much with her voice. Fast cars is supposed to be more soft spoken and smooth…she's better at belting out things, I love her voice but definately not with this song.

    Leave it for Tracy Chapman!
    Better for singers like Sarah McLaughlin to do…

    I love them both but this sucked!!! This song is not made to be a duet. The key Kelly is singing in is too high and way off. When did Chris sing with an annoying, fake twang?

    Oh this is sooo good! Love me some Kelly and Daughtry. And to the haters who know nothing about music…people are allowed to change the key and octave in a COVER SONG. Of course it's not going to sound exactly like Tracy's version! What would be the point of that? Plus, the performance was for flood-relief in Nashville. Heaven forbid we stop criticizing for one second to stop and think about that fact. Some of y'all fail at life.

    KC and Chris ought to release an album together. They are like the alpha/omega of the best idol has ever spawned. I wish they would come back and vocus on the music and talent, rather all of these gimmicks. It's no wonder the show is most likely tanking.

    Kelly is not off. If you had an ear for music you'd know that she's singing the verse an octave higher than Chris. If she had sung it in the same octave it would have been boring. On the chorus, Chris is singing the melody and Kelly is singing the harmony. If they had both sung the melody it would have been boring. They did a perfect job together.
