I'm not a fan of John Mayer's catalogue, but this is a nice song. Judge the music, who cares about their personal lives.

While the song is reasonably good (mildly predictable, but that's a different conversation all together), the video is simply terrible. It reminds me of the kind of video you'd see on CMT for an amature country musician. Who wrote that treatment?

I use to love John Mayer but after the whole David Duke cock thing its kinda faded -_- comments like that tend to do that. So I dont blame Perez for being bitter. I hardly want to welcome him back with open arms.

i don't understand how john mayer is a douchebag at all. i don't get half the things ppl say about him. so he's a little weird, so he says things about loving to fuck jessica simpson. so what? at least he didn't say she was bad in bed. he admitted that he only had a physical attraction to her in playboy magazine. where else can you say that, if not there? and yeah, he used the "n" word, which i despise, but it's not like he called someone the "n" word. he used it in a brotherhood sense that he said he only feels because he has so many black friends in the entertainment business. rappers. guys who use that word everyday to refer to their friends. which is stupid, but ppl continue to do it, why should i stop them?

I like John Mayer, not only for his ability to play the guitar and to sing, but for the fact that he does not need circus acts and sex props on stage to entertain his audience. Look at the choices that pass for "pop" music today, and John sets himself apart. Outside of John, you've got either GaGa, Glambert, or Bieber to choose from……(ugh). You can throw John into any jam session, and he is able to deliver without a hitch (watch him perform in the Crossroads Guitar Festival). Strip away all the makeup, over-the-top costumes, and phoney star personas from the likes of GaGa and Glambert, and there is nothing left because the raw talent is simply not there.

First, no need for Taylor to be in this video. She really only makes a brief appearance and in this case is really nothing more than a back up singer.
