   I CANNOT BELIEVE all the hating on PETA that's going on here. PETA is not nuts, YOU ARE NUTS. You love wearing fur so much, why don't you pick out your own little lynx kitten to smash against a wall or anally electrocute. Wearing fur is disgusting and terrible. Brooke is a complete idiot to be pushing younger generations– that includes mine– to wear fur. I will NEVER, EVER wear fur as long as I live. I will denounce every single "fur pimp" around. I believer PETA's message to Brooke Shields was entirely justified and necessary.

I don't support PETA because I don't agree with their attacks, their way of fighting for the cause is too extreme, but I do support other animal welfare groups and think it's an important subject… but people and animals should never be viewed as equal as far as I'm concerned.

   Re: Serena Loves Mario – Exactly. Some posters on here are making it seem PETA is the only organisation doing anything for animals throughout the world. RSPCA and WWF are well-respected organisations who do great work without singling out people, their top priority is to help animals, not publicly bash the people who are at fault. PETA is notorious for their scare tactics and their aggressive behaviour first, and known for their work second.

    If Brooke cannot have any compassion for animals that are forced to live in tiny wire cages and then anally electrocuted, drowned or skinned alive, something is seriously wrong with her. I used to be a fan, but now that I've seen her ugly heart, I will turn the channel when she's on and will never purchase anything she endorses.

    I put humans and animals together. Humans are not less worth then other animals, which is what we are, animals. We come from the monkeys. Anyone that has read the evolution knows that we have just gotten further.
    Today, I put an innocent animal’s life before a human that has done wrong. I do not stand people that kill animals for fun and say we had to do it for our farm.
    That is not an excuse, put up a better fence instead.
    If you want to wear fur, use a fake one. If you wear fur, you can throw in some blood while you are ahead. Fur is a dead animal that has been killed for beauty and that is just wrong.

    Hey Sushilover, ur not the least bit funny, I wouldn`t quit my day job if I were you. Also you better start increasing the weight on your bench press, I`ve seen 9 year old boys with bigger pecks… I think Brooke Shields is a beautiful woman with alot of class. No doubt what she did was very selfish, But I don`t think she should be hated for it. Who the hell knows why she did it, Maybe this is her version of a mid life crisis or something.
