Tiger To Lose Custody Of His Kids?
Looks like no redemption for Tiger on the home front!
Tiger Woods and his wife, Elin Nordegren, are in the midst of a pretty messy divorce, sources are reporting. Things have been fairly hush-hush about the proceedings, but the latest issue being hashed out could change all that.
Initially, a joint custody agreement was being considered for Tiger and Elin's two small children. However, we hear that Elin is now fighting for sole custody of the kids. This turn could force this behind-closed-doors divorce into a public war!
Though Elin has told her people she does want Tiger to be involved with the kids, she insists that she doesn't want to be involved with him. Sources claim that the pair never speak to one another, with Elin asking her people to deliver messages to him and vice versa. They are living separately, but still within a mile of each other.
And while Tiger is willing to give her whatever she asks for when it comes to money, insiders say that he will fight her to the death for custody of his kids.
This sucks. It's always the kids that suffer.

Sometimes sole custody is better for the kids. In the long run it can mean less fighting because one parent can make decisions. When the parents don't get along, join custody often means fighting over every little thing. He can still be a good parent and see his kids even without joint custody.

I am siding with her on this, at least for now. Between the demands of his career, and his wandering eye, the most stable life for these kids is with their mom. He can arrange a visitation schedule around his golf. If he gets joint custody, how much time are those kids going to spend with the nanny, while he's out? Too much.
Elin should have full custody of the children and Tiger visitations only. Tiger Woods has serious emotional and character issues. Tiger did not seem to want his children. He told his mistresses that Elin’s pregnancies stressed him out. He showed careless disregard for the health and life of his wife and unborn children by having unprotected sex with promiscuous partners, potentially exposing them to STD, HIV, hepatitis, and herpes. Some of these conditions can be dormant and could take years to show. Tiger disrespected his wife and children by bringing his mistresses to the family home for sexual activity. Tiger has been basically an absentee father. There seems to be very little evidence of his involvement with the children’s day to day activities when he was home. It has been reported that Tiger has missed important milestone of his children life, such as his daughter’s christening and his son’s first birthday and first steps. All the time that Tiger spent with his mistresses was time that he deprived his children of his presence an attention. Tiger even texted his mistresses while “on daddy duty”. Tiger appears to have used his children only to gain the favor of sponsors and fans.
I simply don't believe that any pro athlete's wife would EVER believe they live a faithful life. Not the world we live in. I think Elin has become money hungry and now wants to exploit her kids for her own gain. She should be ashamed of herself also. It seems to be more about the money to her now and less about the kids….except to hurt him. Granted, he made his own bed, but without him, she wouldn't be living the life she is. She didn't have money prior to him and wouldn't be able to jet off to wherever on a moments notice, without what he's able to provide her. It goes both ways. They both need to grow up, but kids need both parents, not just one.
I'm with Elin on this one because even if Tiger gets visitation or joint custody of the kids they will probably spend more time with the nannies on his parenting days.

My goodness he slept around, he didn't hit his kids or wife or abuse them in any way. Should they be married no. Should he still have his kids yes. If she can't look past what he did to her for the sake of her kids then she shouldn't have custody.
I don`t think we have a right to judge who is right or who is not. we do not know what went on behind closed doors etc. one thing is sure though- these kids are going to be rich, both parents have millions.
I usually don't think it's a good idea for 1 parent to have sole custody if the parents are not abusive in any way or have addictions(i.e drugs & booze) but he travels so much it would be better to have a stable home. They are already going through enough. He should get visitation but she should have sole custody.
When did he ever see the children before?… When did he have time between thinking about golf while he was hooking up with those women? They need a real dad. Elin needs a real husband and family.

He is gone on tournaments most of the time and it would be better to be with Mom than a Nanny.
He is gone fucking whores the other part of the time and it would be best to be with stable mom than some new whore of the day/week/month.
Yes, Tiger will be able to remain in their lives - but seriously, he needs to be realistic here and put the kids' needs first.
