Charlie Sheen Won't Be Going To Jail…All Day

By night, Charlie Sheen will be known as inmate #48151623 , but by day, he will be an active working man in Aspen.

Officials in Aspen have agreed to let Charlie apply for work release, should he chose. That means he would have a job to go to everyday while serving his 30 day sentence that would benefit the community. You know, like those guys in the orange jumpsuits who pick up trash on the freeway! Wouldn't that be FUN?!?

The deal would be that Charlie would go out during the day, work his ass off doing something mundane, then return to the prison for the evening.

It's kind of like what he did for rehab…except now he is a felon.

No reason why he shouldn't take the deal, unless he is a smug bastard and just wants to think of this like a vacation instead of a punishment.

We wouldn't put that past him!

  2. 2

He just needs to give it a rest.

  3. 3

I can't wait until this is behind Charlie! Charlie is a bad boy he always has been and always will be. I think some manual labor would be good for him.

  4. 4

does explaining what "work release" means make you feel educated and intelligent mario?

    another celebrity getting off easy.

  8. 8

He will take the work so he can SMOKE!!! they won't let him smoke IN jail ;)

  9. 9

You guys reported earlier that he pleaded guilty to a MISDEMEANOR! That means he is NOT a felon! (You are a felon if you are found guilty of a felony.) Big difference there!

  10. 10

Perez, your a idiot. He is not going to be a Felon, he is pleading no contest to a misdemeanor. Because he will do jail time, and no probation, after he is released, the conviction will be expunged, and his record will again be clean. Try to stop being such an uninformed asshole.

So people picking up trash on the side of the road is "mundane" to you? Just make sure you don't toss your Burger King wrappers out your car window or I'll have you hauled in!!!

  12. 12

You are such an ass Perez, you are clearly using the "Numbers" from the show Lost that you claim to never watch as his inmate number. You aren't fooling anyone. Whats with you today?

  13. 13

Agreed to comment number 12….picked up the Lost numbers right away…Perez???

    Re: April 20th
You're giving Perez too much credit. His explanation of work release is completely wrong. Charlie will need to get an actual job that he will be allowed to commute to from jail. He will need to submit his work schedule. His drive time will be calculated and will let him know what time he can leave and when he must return. He will be required to submit his timesheet and also pay for his jail accommodations every payday.

And, please Perez, don't assume that everytime you see people in orange vests cleaning on the side of the road that they are felons. Many volunteer groups participate in "Adopt A Road" and they also don orange vests for safety and clean up litter on the roadways.

That's a fairer and contributory solution that eases the cost burden on the state. It's not as though he's a flight risk. The work could bring his over privileged brain out of the heady ozone a little and help him relate to more normal people.

Perez where do you get your news and do you ever check your facts???? Charlie plead no contest to a misdemeanor not a FELONY which is why his sentence is 30 days. Ya know there are some sites on the internet where you can get accurate celebrity news and gossip!! Check them out!!

You haven't been paying attention. He is DESPERATE to be able to smoke, it is really his biggest concern about doing the time, just the smoking. They wanted special privileges, didn't get em, but now he can smoke all day every day at least. Sheesh!

Aspen jail is cake, they even have PAY PER VEIW durring big fight EVENTS. Ed Bradley {60 min}stopped by one night while an ex bf of mine & inmates were enjoying fightnight with refreshments. He chilled with them and watched the fight, like someone stops into a bar. Quite a hard road for Charlie..
