Miley Denies Lesbo Kiss!
Miley Cyrus is denying that she shared a liplock with a female dancer during her performance of Can't Be Tamed on Thursday's Britain's Got Talent.
Instead she took her to blog, posting an lame excuse explanation to her fans, calling the so-called kiss just "rocking out."
Here's what she had to say:
"I performed ‘Can’t Be Tamed’ this week on one of my favorite shows here in the UK Britian’s Got Talent. Which is totally true, there were some amazinnnggg acts (but of course no one could focus on that.) I had such a blast and was so honored to be on that stage. That being said during my performance I supposedly ‘KISSED A GIRL’ and this is the newest thing to cause controversy.
I promise you I did not kiss her and it is ridiculous that two entertainers cant even rock out with each other without the media making it some type of story. I really hope my fans are not disappointed in me because the truth is I did nothing wrong. I got up there and did my job which is to perform to the best of my ability. I just want to put an end to this right now and just say one thing to everyone out there making this performance such a big deal.
GET OVER IT! NOTHING HAPPENED. THERE ARE WAYYYYYYY MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN THE WORLD. Let’s start focusing a little less on making up ignorant rumors and focus a little more on world peace! Why is it part of a 17 year-old Disney singer's performance to kiss someone of the same sex? That shit was definitely rehearsed. No doubt Walt Disney is spinning in his grave. The thing about art is that nothing is original. There's bound to be elements inspired by previous artists. Disturbia by Rihanna for example took some elements from Michael Jackson's song. Artists like Gordon Bennett borrow and quote elements from other artists too. But they create new meaning and are therefore, considered original. It actually wouldn't be surprising if she decided to take some elements of Lady Gaga and Britney on board because she wants to be as successful as they are. But when it becomes overdone, too obvious or too quick a transition for her, she just has to take that as constructive criticism and execute it better or tone it down, instead of blaming it on other people…A LOT of other people. One word sums it all up: LEARN.

What Miley did was choreographed and calculated to encite response from the viewers. It is inappropriate for Miley, at age 17 to "entertain" in this manner. The entire act was sexual, not just the faux kiss, from the way she dressed to the way she moved. Are there more important things everyone should focus on? Certainly. But when you put yourself in the public spotlight and make millions of dollars "entertaining us, then acxcept not just the praise but the criticism. And instead of making an excuse for your actions, try owning them.
