i wish i was rich enough to have this to myself……………….
nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'so uGLY
Liz was sooo beautiful in her hay day however this portrait does not do her justice andy warhol or not!
talentless hack
Elizabeth Taylor was the most beatiful woman ever, sadly this painting doesn't capture that beauty. It should still sell for millions though, above the estimate i bet. Liz should buy it herself, if there was a Warholl painting of me and i had the $$$ i would lol
Don't know how much I'd pay, but she sure looks like Anne Hathaway in that picture.
I wish I had his portrait of Debbie Harry
Looks more like Natalie Wood
I admit I don't know anything about art. But is this thing's value tied to the artist - was he THAT big a deal? - or is it the subject matter - is she STILL a big deal? - or is this just good art? Honestly, I don't get it.
wow warhol smeared colour on a picture he never took, genius? andy fooled everybody
The Picture Factory has the same thing FRAMED for $9.99!
Beautiful……
Fifty cents.
i really don't think it'll make up to 111 MILLION dollars - that's ridiculous!
Re: perezhasanalleakage – Totally 100% agree with you on this!
Shouldn't Liz have this????????
Re: Belgica – LOL!
yeah masterpiece totally, if I could only be rich like oprah….
2 cents!!!
seriously people? why don't you put the mags down and read an actual book. andy warhol is an amazing artist of the 60's and he loved simplicity and was obsessed with repetition. his originals are really rare and peiople pay big money if it's the actual original.
the comment about the finding the picture in a store for 10 bucks is because the company mass produced copies and suck.
his work is not ugly he has taken a photo and made it simple and beautiful in his way of making it.
don't let the arts die
read a book
dumbasses
Re: dreamboat – pop art
it was big in the 60's
anything big in the media could be made into pop art and twisted in your own style
andy was huge in the 60's
he did repetition of simple things that everyone knew
thats how he became so popular
so yeah he's a huge deal and originals are rare to find
the subject matter…yeah you would have to ask someone else about that lol
