Lily Allen Claims Brit Awards Are Fixed!
If that was true, who the hell would favor her?!
Although Lily Allen won a 2010 Brit Award for Best Female Artist this year, she couldn't give a shiz. The crazy ass claims the awards are fixed.
She said:
"The Brit Awards is a TV show, and a record company executive makes deals with ITV and the producers about who wins what award in exchange for performance time. I got one last week and it just meant absolutely nothing to me to be honest. It just became a non-award."
Geez. Someone doesn't want to be part of a club that would have her as a member!
Organizers ITV and the Brit Trust strongly deny the claims. They explained that more than 1,000 people voted and the results were monitored by the Electoral Reform Services.
"This process makes it 100 per cent transparent and completely democratic," said the Brit Awards spokesman.
It's time to get a grip, bb. You're getting too old for this!

shes not the first person to say something about this. there have been allegations against the Brits before. after some recent fixing incidents on tv shows etc over here everyones a little sceptical of any voting activity. oh and the electoral comission have been under fire a lot recently. the latest election here was a bit of a mess and theyr being blamed for a lot of it.

Whether the Brits are fixed or not, their only function is to increase sales and continue to brainwash the public. It completely ignores the huge range of real, amazing music out there, it's just embarrassing.
think she is right, i mean come on during the 'bleeding love' year leona lewis won nothing even though that year she was the hottest new act, and had biggest selling single of that year, that album is the biggest selling debut album in the uk. yet she won jack shit and lost out to kate nash

true-everything is a set up in the music industry. we need a whole new revival in music…to many "dark" monotonous videos with the same themes:blaspemy, sex, homosexuality, fame whoring, being vain, doing anything for money, women degading themselves while calling it art or entertainment, men acting like pimps and talk about how women are dispensable.
