Ludacris Refuses To Get Off Stage Even After Mic Turned Off!

What were you doing, you big silly?!

Ludacris apparently took a page out of the MileyBird's nest book on Sunday and couldn't be tamed at the Hot 97 Summer Jams concert!

Organizers were apparently cutting acts who went overtime by turning off their microphones, but that didn't stop the rapper!

A source says:

"He kept rapping a cappella when they cut off his juice. Finally, they decided to turn it back on. There really wasn't any other choice, because he wasn't getting off the stage."

What do U think?? Should Ludacris have gotten off the stage when asked or was it cool that he stayed??

Ludacris is more washed up then any rap artist alive www.Number1hater.com

  3. 3

    Thats LUDACRUS! _______________Enter insults here____________________

  4. 4

its kinda lame to just cut a mic off..kinda ruins it for the fans no?

  5. 5

he is a douchebag starving for attention. get over yourself Ludacrap.

  6. 6

He definately should have gotten off stage. He's not more important than any of the other performers.

  7. 7

  8. 8

who still goes to summer jam?

  9. 9

    Luda is Ruda

  10. 10

They should have thrown his ass off the stage, with armed guards. How disrespectful to the other performers.

  11. 11

I think it's disrespectful for them to cut his act. I bet he was one of the most talented there!

  12. 12

Re: jeanmarie – I think it's more disrespectful to the fans who paid to see him…

  13. 13

I was there.. He rocked the stage…no reason to cut the mic because he was one of the only performers who actually had the crowd going

  14. 14

What kind of fucking question is this? If it would had been your Lady CaCa, you would had said she was a professional, doing it for her little monsters, blah, blah, blah… you are a true prick…

  15. 15

Ludacris was probably the most entertaining entertainer there anyway! Unless they were cutting him off for Usher, party on Luda!

  16. 16

Why are you gonna throw concert and then cut off the performers? He is perfroming for the fans….the fans don't want 1/2 a performance.

  17. 17

Ludacris was the best of the night and who they should have shut the mic of on is Trey Songz!

  18. 18

How many of you would pay to go to a concert that was cutting of the artist as they perform? How disrespectful is it to cut someone off because you didn't do your scheduling properly?! Good Job Chris!

  19. 19

He did it for his fans, had they started booing him because they wanted him off the stage, I am sure he would have complied. Looks like they enjoyed it, so why all the Monday night quarterbacking?

  20. 20

Luda was one of the best acts! It was rude of Hot97 to cut his mic off! We all thought it was a technical difficulty…. They weren't trying to cut the show short because towards the end Angie was stalling for time because Usher arrived late! So this makes no sense…. and Luda did a song with Usher…..

  22. 22

Depends on how the crowd liked him! He should have asked their permission…

  24. 24

no its rude to just cut of a mic while a performer is preforming who the hell wants to see a half ass performance

he was prolly the best act there anyway and im sure his fans gave him props for giving them their moneys worth

  25. 25

I think if another artist was late it was cool for him to stay since he was performing with the other artist anyway. But to turn off his mic not cool.
As long as the fans liked it thats what is important.

  26. 26

Re: xoxo_anonymous – No, actually it ruins it for the next act scheduled to go on stage. It wasn't a personal concert with just him headlining, there were other acts. And when you have other acts its unfair for one to be given more time over another. Use your head XOXO, YOU'RE ONE OF THOSE MORONS THAT KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT LIVE SHOWS.

  27. 27

to the thing is… I've been to many live acts and the one thing that pisses me off is when a diva performer (in this case Usher) is late and makes the audience wait. In this case, no one was waiting except for the audience. Time is money and my time is as valuable as theirs. Luda should have been the headliner because Usher was whack!!!

  28. 28

lol maybe he was just too high to notice the mic was off

  29. 29

Re: the thing is… – actually i do. im assuming people who pay for tickets, would rather a show go a little over then having the artist get cut off. almost no live shows stick to the times given. and as somebody else stated Usher was running late anyways and Angie had to buy time. so instead of listening to someone talk…they could have just let him continue. because no good comes out of restless fans.

  30. 30

I was at Summer Jam..if that was the case wouldn't he had walked off the stage..why would he perform another 2 songs in which he was the only performer who had the crowd jumping from the beginning to the end…including when he introduced DJ Khalad on stage….sorry Perezito but your gossip is all sorts of wrong…

  31. 31

not gonna say anything about ludacris, but….turning off an artists mic during a live performance?
EXCUSE U? thats like trippin up a runner right infront of the finish line.
…..and so what, if they go overtime? thats why it is LIVE, dicks.
Dont start scratching your heads when artists just dont wanna play your events anymore or noone will buy anymore tickets and shove some money up ur arse….DOUCHE

  32. 32

He's not an attention seeker he understood that his fans paid to see him so y should they pay to see him get cut off

  33. 33

    Love ya Luda!

  34. 34

i was there, you hardly could tell because he was putting on such a great show- they really shouldve cut off dj khaled instead of him

  35. 35

He should have gotten off the stage and gone looking for some talent. Worthless POS.

  36. 36

cutting the dude off in the middle of a song is just plain rude

  37. 37

i really don't know what to think.
if they wanted him to perform, why cut him off?

    Re: xoxo_anonymous – agreed.

  38. 38

    I love youuu; luda !!
    Keep rappin' hunny!

  39. 39

don't cut off a musician in the middle of a show, he was doing it for the fans who came to see him.
half the rappers nowadays are showing up 2 hours late for their shows and performing for 20 minutes half-assed, how are you going to complain about an artist going above and beyond?? i say good for him.

  40. @v@ says – reply to this

You don't cut a performer's mic. You finish the song, then thank them off. Who are these so called organizers? Horrendous.

  41. 41

I think it's fine that he stayed. The concert should have been better organized and timed. The artists shouldn't have needed to compromise their work because other weren't able to time the concert right.
